The staff were very nice and helpful. The bedrooms were well appointed and clean. The live music in the bar was a bonus.
A haven of relaxation, this contemporary hotel and leisure centre is located on the outskirts of Waterford city centre and just 15 minutes away from Waterford Airport.

Not much when we arrived receptionist wasn't very friendly. Within 20 minutes of arrival the door of our room was been kicked and banged by children running up and down the hall. Doors were banging all night with children running up and down the hall. We go away to different parts of the country once or twice a month and have never experienced anything like this before. On our second night more or less the same carry on. Only had people playing football in car park at 1am and I don't mean children.
Very disappointed with this hotel

It's close enough to town yet quiet a night time to get a good sleep!
Receptionist on check in was a lovely lady who's name I forget now and a man Bruno spoke with us briefly and at breakfast time was a really friendly face to see also!

Friendly helpful staff, nothing too much trouble.
Comfortable bed & modern en-suite.
Half Irish breakfast was more than enough & could have had more if I’d had room.
Path to get onto beach right from the car park lovely for an early morning or late evening walk.

An elegant city with an impressive sense of its history, which is comprehensively documented. Fine restaurants and stylish shops. An abundance of cultural activities - all weather: museums and outdoor venues.

I liked the food, pubs, ease of getting around and accessible tourist attractions. I wish there were a few free tourist things to do (similar to the museums being free in Dublin) so that I could wander in and out of places rather than needing to commit an hour or more to a place as I've paid to enter that one time. I adore how you can visit a museum in Dublin for 15 mins and come back later or the next day and do more...at no cost! Beautiful. Waterford was a nice trip overall. 1 to 2 nights needed.

I drove to New Ross, a nice small town nearby, home of John F. Kennedy’s family, housing the Dunbrody Famine Ship. Drove to Hook Lighthouse (oldest in Europe). Very interesting. Intown Waterford, the Waterford Crystal Experience was interesting and the cafe inside has a good lunch menu. Excellent salads.
Waterford city is not particularly attractive nor interesting.
I am a solo traveler.

The sun shone during our trip to Waterford and that always helps.
The town has some interesting museums to keep you occupied if it does rain. Most tourists will probably head to the Waterford glass making factory but we would recommend the Clock Museum. It's small but contains some lovely time pieces and is worth a visit.

The Breakfast was made of two parts cold i.e. cereal and Porridge. and a cooked element, it can only be described as Superb.
The Room was overlooking the River Suir, lots of interest there, The Waterford City and Country are building a new Foot Bridge across the River right outside the Granville hotel, awesome !.
Right beside the River, what could be better.
Best hotel I’ve stayed in so far in Ireland regarding staff, room size, location & staff were all amazing it’s hard to get this across the board in hotels and ye got it spot on. Food was so so nice -will definitely return and be staying for longer. Renee in the restaurant and the duty manager especially stood out
Everything about this stay was excellent. Size and cleanliness of rooms, comfortable beds, location and,of course, staff. Excellent breakfast and great service.
The best hotel we have stayed in in Ireland.
Clean and well appointed room. Convenient to train station, city centre, and Waterford Greenway. Complimentary breakfast. Food at the in-hotel restaurant is good. Smart TV in the room.
