Not worth it unless you're between flights
Rooms are clearly worn out and feel heavily used. No windows, which makes it feel claustrophobic. Breakfast was poor and uninspiring. The only real value is if you need a place to crash for a few hours between flights without leaving the terminal — nothing more.

Embark on an authentic Indian joyride into mad Mumbai’s chaotic streets with its revving rickshaws, bustling bazaars, timeless temples and colonial history. This melting pot of Indian culture features a mix of rich Bollywood wannabes and the city’s slum dwellers, all residing together in India’s most populous city.
South Mumbai is a useful starting point with the symbolic Gateway of India in Colaba welcoming local Marathis and tourists alike. Opposite is the impressive Taj Mahal Palace & Tower Hotel. The Art Deco Regal Cinema underlines Mumbai’s colonial heritage.
A top Indian curry comprises key ingredients and your Mumbai experience should also include a menu of fashion, film and nightlife. Leopold Café is a place to be seen and there are many other chic bars and clubs. You can do a Bollywood tour where you can even feature as an extra in a film!
During the day, take a trip by ferry to the Elephanta Island with its caves and then spend the evening people watching on Chowpatty Beach in the south or Juhu Beach in the west.
Booking.com has hotels in Adheri in the west, around the fort and train station in the south or nearby central Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, amongst many others.
Mumbai is excellent. My favourite place. Very lively and vibrant city. Very safe. Marine drive is very good. Did not travel too much because of busy schedule. Communication is very good. Lots of places are there to eat with lots of choices

An amazing city, totally changed my perception of India and Indian people. Super friendly, honest, real, busy, vibrant etc.
We stayed in Colaba which I highly recommend for tourists. It's got great restaurants, easy to walk around, really beautiful colonial architecture and a lot of nice attractions.
Island of Elephanta was definitely worth a half-day trip on the ferry. If you find a taxi driver you like, ask them to spend half a day taking you around the top sites of the city - they'll all offer this anyway, but if you get a good local to show you around it's an incredible experience. They will charge you around 500 rupees per hour and gratefully accept any tips on top of that.

Mumbai was a fantastic experience!
Mumbai was a fantastic experience! I especially enjoyed exploring the Elephanta Caves, the Global Vipassana Pagoda, and the Kanheri Caves—each offering a unique glimpse into the city’s history and culture. The people were incredibly friendly, and I felt very safe throughout my trip. Although I’ve traveled across India, this was my first time in Mumbai, and I truly enjoyed the energy and diversity of the city. I’d recommend visiting outside of the summer months, as the heat and humidity were intense, but overall, it was a great stay and a memorable visit.

I have never been to a filthier city.
I have never been to a filthier city. Animal and human wastes every where. No driving rules. Every time you need to cross the raod you are risking life and limb. Billions of cars , horrid sewer smells, Co2 everywhere, hard to breath!! the humidity makes the pollution stick to your skin and face and clothers!!
NEVER DRINK WATER UNLESS IT IS BOTTLED. Avoid cold beverages unless served in really expensive hotels. Request no ice. Do not eat anything raw. My husband was hospitalised because of eating fruit!! Don't be fooled by advertising. To them everything is amazing but when you visit you get a huge let down. We though Navi would be close to western standards but no, only small pockets of it reminded you of the west -- poverty is everywhere and it is really prevalent and pervasive. If you must go, visit the Taj Mahal hotle, its facilities are open to guests. Starbucks at the back of the Taj is lovely and clean. Collaba is worth a visit. There you get a hint of histroy and culture and less visible poverty. The Elephanta caves are also worth visiting - nothing else !!!

The seaside position and central location on Marine Drive is the main reason to stay here. need a Seaview room to take advantage of the views. Otherwise the hotel is "Okay" - 4 star not 5 star. Decor and condition of fittings is dated and worn in some places. beds are only Queen size. Internet is limited to 2 devices otherwise have to pay extra. Overall it is a reasonable option but do not expect perfection. Staff in breakfast restaurant very attentive (Priyal).

Breakfast good. Location is supposed to be excellent. The famed Marine drive (Marine road) of Mumbai. Room was great. The cleanest room and bathroom we came across In India on this holiday. 20 days we were in India. Nearly 10 -12 hotels we stayed. Some claimed that they were 4, 5 stars. but their cleanliness was horrifying. These people don't know what is cleanliness. The first hotel that had stain free, bed linen. And thank god for that.
Scammer property. They took the booking online about ₹6000/- approx per room, but once we reached there they made us pay ₹11,000/- approx per room. I have never experienced such level of scam in Mumbai on Booking.com. Please delist them from booking.com & spread awareness about their cheating tactics, so that nobody else reaches the hotel at 1am from the airport with family and left with no other to pay up to their extortion.
Beautifully decorated in art deco style , full of character . Very conveniently next to the airport particularly good for a short business trip.
I realized it takes the same distance to anywhere from anywhere in Mumbai so best to stay in a comfortable hotel luxury hotel with a great spa right next door to the airport .
