Its Located outside of Madikeri city , but just next to highway which we liked it , the ambience is very good . Loved the breakfast. near to many tourist spots . Staff is very kind . Bonus the entry is like a garden , well maintained

⭐ 1/5 (If zero was possible, I would give that) I had a terrible experience with this property, and I strongly advise others to avoid it. I booked through Booking.com, where the property was shown as clean, decent, and well-maintained. However, the reality was shockingly different. The room was in disgusting condition – stinky, dusty, with stained bedsheets, visible fungus on the walls, a broken window, a torn bed, and even bedbugs. There was a strong smell of smoke, and the balcony was muddy and unclean. The attitude of the staff, especially the caretaker/manager named Gireesh, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He insisted on full payment before showing the room. Once we saw the condition, we raised multiple complaints and were shifted between three equally bad rooms. Each one was worse than the other. When we requested a refund due to the unlivable condition, we were told bluntly, "This is how the hotel is. If you want to stay, stay. Otherwise, leave." After long arguments, they reluctantly agreed to change the bedsheets, but even those were worn out, dirty, and unacceptable. The bathroom was filthy, and anyone could peep in through the broken window, making it unsafe. In the end, we chose not to stay at all, as the property was absolutely not worth the money, nor did it feel safe or hygienic. This is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The listing on Booking.com is completely misleading. Avoid this property at all costs.

Everything thing was awesome. But only one prblm was room was not cleaned properly. Bottle cap of a alcohol was there on the bed which was used by before customer. Foot mat was full of mud. Other than this no issues. Good ambience.

    In Madikeri, most of the attractions are close to each other...

    In Madikeri, most of the attractions are close to each other and it is easy to go around if you hire a rick, car or even a two wheeler; one can visit Abbey Falls, Madikeri Fort, Museum, Raja's tomb, Sunnyside Museum and Raja's Seat in a day itself and Mandalpatti Trek only by jeep but early morning by 5am. You can eat at Coorg cuisine, a good place specially for non-vegetarian food. In coorg, there is also Zipline, check prior visiting one at Abbey Falls & other at Raja's Seat. We also got a chance to experience fire-flies before leaving Coorg near our bus stop of Sea-bird travellers.

    The location is great, the staff are amazing as they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. There's a good spread for breakfast with sufficient variety! It's a great option for those with pets. The Villa at which we stayed was good, except the kitchen needed some sprucing. It gave an impression of neglect and brought down the overall impression of the Resort (which otherwise is good)

    Madikeri itself is not that great but the resorts in the area are havens in nature and tranquility. Plus nearby visiting sites including coffee plantations, temples, etc are good. We were happy to just be in the resort and enjoy beautiful nature. There are ambitious trekking paths for those who are young and fit.

    Too much crowded. Elephant feeding and bathing is a sham. We stood in line for two hours in hot sun , however we didn’t make it to the boat by 5:30 and it got closed. Parking is a problem everywhere

    Madikeri is good for 4 to 5 days stay you get to see great views all over, but it isn't always cold during the day as shown on internet, day time is as hot as eastern summers even in peak December

    Harangi Elephant camp where we can feed and touch elephants.

    Harangi Elephant camp where we can feed and touch elephants. No elephant rides at this time but may be in future. The musical fountain show at Harangi dam was very nice (better than Brindavan gardens). Talakaveri - the birthplace of Kaveri is nice place to visit. Bird park at Nisarga dhama is very nice where you can feed the birds. Children would love it.

    we had planned a sudden trip to coorg and found the coco stay in the booking site. we had a very wonderful stay at the place,the host was very friendly and gave us good guidance on our trip plans on what location to cover. the place is very serene surrounded by lush green nature. the good prepared by the caretaker was very delicious,coorg style authentic dishes,much recomended for anyone looking to expierence coorg at its best.

    It's a Dream catcher.. The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Pool experience was great.. Well designed room, The pool, campfire, food, hospitality, etc.. - were Awesome. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone.

    Apt for Coorg, Royal Woods share the forest feel. Not too far from Madikeri or main road it's best placed. Owner Ashrith speaks good and friendly. Care taker Anthony and Team is the best part, acts like a virtual guide, helps to give all tourist information on travel, places, food. They serve hot and tasty breakfast and dinner, very homely. Thanks for them.
