I had a fantastic experience during my stay in Delhi! The city is vibrant, full of life, and offers an incredible mix of history, culture, and modern charm. Exploring the local markets was an absolute delight — from colorful textiles and handcrafted goods to the aroma of street food wafting through the air, every corner had something unique to offer. The restaurants and bars in Delhi truly impressed me. Whether it was fine dining or casual local spots, the variety and quality of food were outstanding. I especially loved trying different regional dishes, and every meal felt like a culinary adventure. Meeting the locals and immersing myself in the everyday rhythm of the city made the trip even more special. Everyone I encountered was friendly and eager to share a bit of their culture. The only downside was the traffic, which can be intense and time-consuming. But honestly, it’s a small price to pay for everything else the city has to offer. We booked skywoo d and they offer other hotel. It is not good. Breakfast included, they gave us in other hotel, which was 200 mts away from our resident hotel. Tea was Cold, butter toast wàs good but butter was not of any standard company. Spoons of very low grade plastic. No, hot water in bathroom. Lights are very low, you can't do shaving properly. Delhi is a growing developing city. If you've never been i would guess it will surprise you. things are modernizing in India and Delhi is at the heart of that change. Delhi is the most chaotic city in the world. Every day someone is out to fiddle you out of a few pounds/rupees, In May the heat is intense, but I keep going back. You have to have your wits about you. One tip....always try to establish the price first. I usually split my time between two hotels, first is in or around Paharganj Bazaar and the other is usually 5 star, that way I see both sides of Delhi and still love going there.Guest review byInternet AnthonyUnited Kingdom
