We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful—he even went out of his way to drive ahead of us in his car and escort us to the cottage, which we really appreciated.
The cottage itself had a beautiful balcony overlooking open fields, which made for a peaceful and scenic setting. One of the best parts was having our own private hot tub—such a relaxing experience!
Náttúra Yurtel has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Haukadalur, 4 km from Geysir.

We loved the idea of staying in a yurt, and the concept had great potential — a modern, cozy twist on traditional camping. Though the bed was comfortable and the yurt was warm, the actual overall experience fell short.
This Icelandic horse farm provides accommodation in Haukadalur Valley, 90 minutes’ drive from Reykjavik. Overlooking Geysir, it offers a guest lounge, garden and horse riding tours.

Exceptional property. Scandinavian style and looks newly built. Awesome shared kitchen not your standard design kitchen. We did not use it but there is a coffee machine in kitchen. Nice furniture in shared lounge. Good size modern bathroom and even a small fridge in the room which is useful as fridges in shared kitchen can be full if many guests. When we were there there seems to be only one other couple and so was rather luxurious space. Lovely outlook and close to Gullfoss and yet feels remote. Easy self check in.
12 km from Geysir in Kjarnholt, Mengi Countryside provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and hot tub. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area....
Featuring free WiFi, Blue Hotel Fagrilundur - On The Golden Circle is situated in Reykholt, 19 km from Geysir and 29 km from Gullfoss Waterfall.

Well located for our trip. Room a bit more basic than expected. Breakfast fine for something quickly. Didn't see any staff, but self check in was easy.
Geyser area is a popular stop in Iceland. Although I was skeptical of a hotel, located at a tourist, attraction, the hotel impressed us. The facility was new. The restaurant was top notch. In the evening After the tourist flow slows down, it is awesome to have so close to a cool attraction

We stayed at the Geysir hotel our first night in Iceland.
We stayed at the Geysir hotel our first night in Iceland. The location right next to the Geysir was perfect, as we were able to spend some time there in the evening after dinner. This allowed us to spend more time at other attractions within the Golden Circle during the day. Early check was available for us. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The food and service for both was very good. The portions served for dinner were generous. Breakfast was included in our stay, there was a lot of variety to choice from.

A one night stop her while touring the Golden Circle. Perfect location and a lovely Hotel. Food good. Rooms comfortable and plenty big enough. We were then a short drive away from the Gullfoss Waterfalls.
