Excellent location right by the sea. Room 11 was large with a very spacious bathroom, view to the ocean, and easy access to parking lot. We would have liked to enjoy dinner but our available time ran out.

The hostel has several good points, including clean and location is convenient, the kitchen supplies are very sufficient, having free parking space beside the hostel, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially, the hostel provides free milk, orange and apple juice. They also provide delicious free traditional cake every evening. However, it would be better if the shower water can be stronger.

The location was superb, we all loved it. It was convenient for visiting the Diamond beach and Jokulsarlon.

A remote location, with sea views and a quirky atmosphere. Quiet, spacious rooms, but felt a little dated and in need of refreshing. Some interesting old memorabilia in the corridors and hall ways, and around the dining area and bar. The breakfast was varied, with plenty of Icelandic goodies to try.
