We initially booked an apartment elsewhere, but due to an unforseen leakage there, we booked a room online at this hotel instead, who luckily still had a room. They were quick to respond to our last minute reservation, and the staff is very friendly. Our room was clean, and they served a good breakfast. We decided to stay an additional extra night, as the island is beautiful.

The accommodation is in a traditional setting in amongst the central neighbourhood. It makes you feel like you’re a local living amongst the locals in the centre of Carloforte. The location is excellent. You are next to all amenities. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautifully decorated with everything you need when spending some days in Carloforte. Walking distance to the town center. Easy communication and very helpful host. The small kitchen that can be used for breakfast is a plus!
Carloforte is such a charming and authentic small town!
Carloforte is such a charming and authentic small town! I feel like a little bit longer stay would be better for us (we stayed only 1 night), cause you can explore the island with rented electro-bikes. The walk around the town in the morning was refreshing and it gave us such a unique feeling about the serenity of the place! The whole family loved it!

Carloforte is a very pretty town on San Pietro.
Carloforte is a very pretty town on San Pietro. It is very easy to find your way around and the tourist information is very helpful when it is open (not open from October to March.) People are very friendly and will do anything to help you. 2 Beaches we would recommend - La Bobba and La Caletta. Also the Boat trip around the island run by Andrea and Luca is a must. 2 Restaurants highly recommended are La Oasi and La Lanterna. A very clean town as well. There are lots of activities and the ferries run hourly. If flying in to Caglieri use De Bi Poma tours shuttle bus to Portovesme to catch the Ferry.

Beautiful island that is the quintessential Italian vacation, compact enough to comfortably explore in a week, but you'll still want to stay longer. It has beautiful beaches that are rarely crowded, charming coves, calette, hiking trails, mountains, cliffs, boating, sailing, diving, snorkeling, exquisite cuisine and shopping, etc.

Carloforte is always a dream, my husband and I need to visit it every year as we are simply in love with it. The city center is like a fairy tale of all the architecture and the people are so nice everywhere you go, you can feel it has a soul. The food and restaurants are delicious everywhere you go, but our favourite is definitely Ristorante da Nicolo, you need to try it! Also the small Tavernas around the city offer amazing food and they are very economic. Our favourite beaches are La Caletta and La Bobba. It is very easy to get around Carloforte, especially if you have a car, to reach the beaches around. In the city center there is a big free parking space in the close vicinity of the fairy, so you do not need to pay for the parking, but bare in mind that the parking space gets very busy in the evenings, especially during the summer weekends as the city is very alive.
You need to visit this place, it is out of this world.

Carloforte is an old village of colorful houses, you can breathe an air of joy and friendly people. The only thing is that there is not much tourist information of the place, very bad signage on the road to find the beaches, they charge tax for 3 to 5 euros to use the cutlery on your plate of food in restaurants and we find it INCREDIBLE, if one pays that because you can not take the cutlery? Nowhere in the world do they charge for cutlery. And this happens all over Sardinia. I recommend a gelateria in front of the DECOLMAR boats, a yogurt ice cream with a delicious cherry sauce, it is attended by his father and son ... IL DIVINE FRUIT. A delicious pizza in the PIZZERIA NAPOLI near the square or central park of Carloforte is served by father mother and daughter, local and family businesses and we liked that, it benefits local tourism.

We enjoyed driving around to the far side of the island which isn't very big. We especially liked Il Colonne area on the southern side of the island. The beaches that we saw were mostly rocky beaches and not sandy.

Our stay was fantastic! The apartment was perfect for exploring the island (beaches and hiking) and Carloforte. The host, Peppe, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He provided everything we needed, from local tips to a clean apartment with a washing machine. We loved the island and the apartment!
Peppe’s friendly communication and hospitality made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this place!
Breakfast was good but there is no parking and the street is a one way and very narrow and downhill. As we had big suitcases it was really difficult for us to get them inside but I am sure it suits Italians and the local people who don't have much luggage.
Situated in the centre of Carloforte - leave the car behind and take a stroll
Very friendy staff with good recommendations for almost everything
Relaxed atmosphere of the city, really nice
