The owners Paula and Valentina are perfect hosts. They are very welcoming and attentive. They really want guests to be happy. Breakfast was served outside. Every morning you got new variations of smoothies, egg dishes and homemade muffins. What a nice treat! They were also very helpful making suggestions on trips/restaurants. If you want to visit the Cinque Terre, that‘s the place to stay!

The owners are great so is all the team! the rooms are excellent, breakfast is very tasty and the service is really superb There was a strike incl most of the trains so the owners helped us a lot with the plan B including their friends drive to the different city.. We really loved every minute

Good value for money. Location is great - close to 5-Terre but still a bit away from the crowd. Clean room. Staff very friendly. Free private parking included which is awesome.

The Manager Massimo was very helpfull before arrival with answering questions and offering directions. The hotel is right next to the beach and has convienient parking just behind. I would definately stay here again.

Everything was great! The location on the map seems tricky but it is a false impression! It is a 10 minute walk from the (quite charming) town and even less to the station. Besides the shuttle service is fantastic (we only used twice - on arrival and departure because of the luggage and it was seamless). I loved the room - properly big, with a comfortable bed nice bathroom and the garden with a table and chairs. Breakfast was lovely - everything that you need with very helpful and friendly staff. And the swimming pool is a strong asset too. I would return happily

Location excellent. Short stroll to town’s restaurants, beach and station. Host, Federico, wonderful. VERY helpful, informative and friendly. Breakfast was terrific; plenty of choice in a classy little setting.

    A nice town with some good restaurants and a small beach. Ideal as a base to visit the Cinque Terra from, as not so busy but only 5 to 20 mins on the train to see all the villages. Bar Levanto is perfect for a drink after a sight seeing visit.

    Levanto is a quaint little town in Liguria and the last stop before the popular Cinque Terre. It may not be as well-known as other Ligurian destinations—reflected in its more affordable prices—but it’s well worth a visit if you’re planning to spend a full day at the beach. The town offers the same crystal-clear waters and pebbly shores as its more famous neighbors. The compact town center features a variety of restaurants and cafés serving popular dishes from Ligurian cuisine.

    Levanto is a lovely Italian resort just outside the Cinque Terre, 5 minutes by train. The train access is fantastic and very cheap and reliable. Lovely resort with plenty of cafes and bars. A relaxed vibe with plenty going on.

    Levanto is a great starting off place for Cinque Terre. The train station is easy to get to and there are a lot of trains going into the park. Levanto has a lot of restaurants and interesting stores as well, as well as scenic areas worth exploring. There are a lot of places to stay in Levanto as well, which makes getting a room price competitive. Getting to Levanto was relatively easy and not far from the main highways.

    It is extremely convenient for visiting places up and down the train line. There’s a wide range of shops and cafes and restaurants. The beach is great even though it’s stoney and we enjoyed the beach bars and Bar Levanto near the station. There’s enough of historical and cultural interest too. We loved being able to catch the ferry instead of the train a few times.

    Great location near to beach -great sunsets. Very pleasant town with wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops. Nice laid back feel and not overly busy (unlike the Cinque Terra!) Has its own railway station so good connection to the Cinque Terra.

    This hotel is ideal for visiting the Cinque Terre villages. It is modern, clean and serves a great breakfast. The staff are super helpful and the rooms are spacious, modern and bright and airy. The hotel is in a quiet location, yet only about 5-10 minutes walk into the Centre of Levanto and similar to the train station. Can’t recommend enough!

    We, two friends traveling together, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amar. The room was newly furnished and very comfortable. Levanto is a superb base for exploring Cinque Terre and surroundings. Our host had a lot of good advice on the best restaurants, cafés and hikes. We would very gladly book a room at Amar again.

    Fabulous hotel in the centre of Levanto. Lovely staff, clean and comfortable room. Great to have a balcony. Amazing breakfast included with lots of options. Very close to the beach, shops and restaurants directly below.
