Malgrate is a small town located across the southern end of Lake Como from Lecco. It is very nice and avoids the hustle of the larger cities in the area but provides convenient access to all of them. Malgrate is horrible . We really booked for the luxury of this hotel which was a huge disappointment. We thought this was going to be an amazing stay but it did not meet any expectations that was advertised through booking.com there were other ppl who spoke to felt the same but maybe they don’t complain I don’t usually I get on with it but the hot tub not working was awfulGuest review byBridgetteAustralia

Room was clean and breakfast was OK. What they are not saying is that the hotel is connected to an 4+ hotel "Promessi Sposi" and to get to lake side you cross this hotel. Which is ok. The spa area looks very nice, belonging to the other hotel, you need to pay to use it. It is a roof top bar and 2 restaurants connected, one in the hotel, the other on the lake.
