The location is excellent. The staff were great. The bed was comfortable. Apart from a couple of guests who don't understand how locks work the floor was quiet.

Lamborghini produce their distinctive V8s in Sant’Agata Bolognese, while the most famous of them all – Ferrari – has turned the nearby town of Maranello red. The church bells even ring every time their F1 team wins!

Nearby Modena accommodation on Booking.com includes luxury hotels and cheap guest houses by the train station.
Modena is a beautiful town. Lively, clean and with some grand architecture being a Ducal city, which if you were not aware of that fact comes as a surprise. The interior of the Duomo is very impressive as is the Teatro Communale Pavarotti- Freni. Lots of balsamico and local specialities to taste. The Ferrari museum is a very interesting
experience even if you are not particularly interested in cars because of the building the exhibition is housed in. The Casa Museo Pavarotti is a must for visitors who are interested in music and opera to find out more about Maestro Pavarotti and enjoy soaking up the atmosphere in a very comprehensive exhibition of his life.

We went to L'antica Pizzeria da Michele and were impressed with the taste of their pizzas and nice service. This is the place we really reccomend! We were out of season, so the place was slightly crowded, but no waiting time.

I spent three nights at two different addresses. That was the length of the trip in q. 2. I've been a few times before.
It's a fine city, with a lot of impressive buildings (most obviously the cathedral and the chimney in Via della Manifattura dei Tabacchi) and modern facilities to match. Not overrun by traffic in the centre, in fact surprisingly quiet in the evening for a city of its size.

My first time in Modena. I really enjoyed. It’s small enough that you can walk to every attraction. Not too full of Tourists as some other italian cities. It offers great food, opportunities for shopping and lovely historical center.

Good thing was that there were very few tourists there , so a more authentic city to visit . However , it did feel a bit flat in the evenings. Amazingly, people were not out drinking Aperol Spritz around 6.00 pm as they were in Parma . Also , seemed so quiet and lacking in atmosphere by comparison . Essential to book a table in restaurants otherwise you won’t get in - similar to Parma .

I used to live in Modena, now I come back mainly for family reasons.
I would not visit in the middle of August, as it is way too hot and mostly empty, this time I had to come to see my mum in hospital.
Lots of things to see, and to taste, friendly people and a very nice Cathedral, plus if you like fast cars, and opera this is the place for you.

This was the perfect stay for our short stay in Modena. It's in a super central location, walking distance from most things you'd want to visit. The staff was super helpful and nice and the breakfast was great. We also really appreciated the air conditioning in the room in August because it was SO HOT, so coming back to the hotel was such a treat.
This was a nice little surprise. Located just outside of Modena, this hotel is really beautiful. Staff was very friendly as well. Breakfast was good. A great find for the price.
