United KingdomFabulous breakfast. Very clean room and swimming pool. Safety deposit box build in the wall - very safe. Good restaurant and bar at the hotel. Excellent coffee. Other restaurants 15 min walk. Supermarket at the corner. Free shuttle bus to the beach. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Special thank you for Giovanni and Arthuro at the reception. Close to ferry to La Maddalena. Ferry tickets are cheaper 30% if you buy it the day before.

Lovely town. ability to use ferry to go to MAddalena, which is also nice. There was a market every night from around 9pm. There was also events in the square on Friday and Saturday. Really lively. I was in Palau in October. Very good place where to stay as base for daily trips in the nearby places. Beautiful beaches all around. Santa Teresa di Gallura, Marinella, isola rossa, Porto Pollo (good for kitesurf & windsurf) , capo Testa and so many others.Guest review byDiegoItaly - 10.0

Palau is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Costa Smeralda. Its not too large and has a very friendly athmosphere. There is a beautiful beach really close to the apartment and there are so many great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a lovely Gelato shop all near the marina. There is a ferry that goes back and forth all day to Maddelena Island which is beautiful. You can either go on foot or take the car. Nice area around the harbour. A number of restaurants that are perfect for 3-4 days. Plenty of opportunities to go on a sailing trip to La madalane and the other lovely islands around Palau.
