Picture postcard stunning. Teaming with flowers and lemons.
Picture postcard stunning. Teaming with flowers and lemons. An overriding fragrance of Japanese Trachelospermum , jasmine, everywhere. Impossibly steep and winding, with houses perched on impossible locations as most like a fairytale.

Friendly competent staff. Amazing views.
Friendly competent staff. Amazing views. Small room , but very clean. location great near bus stop for direct access to Amalfi town.
Negatives: wedding function on the Saturday night of our stay- lots of noise outside of room until 1.30 am.Smoke alarm fitted directly above bed which flashed continually, would have been better placed away from bed.

Having traveled to the larger cities of Italy, the pace is definitely slower in Ravello, but there are tourists everywhere. Getting to Ravello is difficult. The road is curve after curve. Lots of good vantage spots of the sea. Villa Cimbrone is worth the walk.

For us by far the best town on the Amalfi coast.
For us by far the best town on the Amalfi coast. Not too crowded (May) with plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Tourist shops but not overly commercial like other coast towns and ports. Fabulous villas and gardens to visit in the town with iconic views.

Ravello is beautiful.
Ravello is beautiful. If you are looking for a serene location, this is it. The food was good, the staff at our hotel made us feel like family. We ate at a Pizzeria close to La Moresca the pizza and salads were delicious. They offered great directions for parking since we had a rental car. Overall I give Ravello a 10.

Ravello is tucked away in the mountains above the Amalfi Coast. After taking the ferry to Amalfi town, we caught the SITA bus and experienced the incredible ride to Ravello. The town is beautiful and friendly filled with shops, restaurants, a bank, and villas to explore. It is also a lovely jumping off point for adventures around the Amalfi Coast.

Beautiful location and amazing terrace for meals and swimming. The breakfast was excellent, wonderfully presented with a very varied selection. The communal areas of the hotel (reception, pool, terrace, breakfast room and restaurant) were beautifully presented and tastefully furnished. The bathrooms were gleaming and felt luxurious.
Friendly staff who were happy to store our luggage for us prior to official check in time, which allowed us to explore Ravello.

Very kind owners, assisted with locating the hotel and carrying luggage, also gave recommendations for dining out. Generous sized room, very clean bathroom (and room service daily to refresh), tasty breakfast buffet to be enjoyed on the private balcony with a fantastic view overlooking Ravello. 40 minute walk to the beach (downhill), perhaps a bit longer back up due to the many steps! No faults, would highly recommend and visit again.

The best staying in Italy, by far. Casa Dolce Casa is something special in a special place, Ravello. I don't have enough words to say how great it was. The view, the room, bathroom, the breakfast... Everything perfect. Grazie mille. I'm sure I'll be back to you one day.

Rooms are modern clean and roomy. Garden and views are fabulous. Breakfast is really good and varied, and siting in the garden or balcony taking in the views is such a good way to start your day.
