AustraliaPerfect location, a little away from the main town on Monte Isola, with a ferry dock 50 m away. Rooms, views, staff and facilities at the inn were all fantastic. Even a private area on the lake for swimming, with the most comfortable bean bags!

This is the perfect place for a quiet, romantic getaway. If you are looking for 'party central', it's not for you. You are among locals that do their best to speak English and tolerate your bad Italian. It is seriously one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. A great local restaurant, some great cafes. The villa was fabulous, marvellous views that exceeded expectation. Rooms were spacious. We were very comfortable there. We could walk to an excellent local pizzeria, Bellavista, which did takeaway too. Riva di Solto is a short walk, about 15 minutes down, 20 minutes back (uphill!) and a lovely little village with a regular boat service to all parts of the lake. Loved the hotel and it had the most amazing views of the beautiful lake. The restaurant was superb. Not happy to be charged 5 Euros each for asking for another towel each . Our room had a lovely private balcony and lake view. The staff at the hotel are kind, courteous and professional. Great fresh breakfast selection, which they kindly made available to takeaway when we checked out very early to catch our flight. We ate in the restaurant one night which has a three course meal offer, for just 20 Euro. Overall the hotel is traditional and quaint which in our opinion added to the charm.Guest review bySamIreland

If you wish, in just 100 metres, you can take the boat from Riva di Solto and visit Montisola and other small villages along Iseo lake, You can have breakfast and other meals on the balcony watching and enjoying a wonderful lake view. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Mirtillo (blueberry) the hotels dog who always greeted us and wanted a belly scratch.
