Next to lots of restaurants. The breakfast was simple, but good (especially the coffee!). Towels, soap, shower gel etc. were all provided. Also loved the that the blinds made the room really dark and that the windows towards the river were sound proof.

Nice touch with a guest terrace/ lounge with cold & sparkling water on tap & metal water bottles to use & keep as a gift.
Very good grain shower.
The only thing they could improve on would be to have facial tissues in the room.
Also, good TV with Netflix & Prime so you can due your own.

CanadaLocation was nice- we were able to have a nice calm walk from the main station and got there in 20 mins. We arrived really late in the night and someone from the staff called us to see where we were. Thankfully, they allowed us to have a late check-in and waited for us.

Tirano is a lovely little town.
Tirano is a lovely little town. We decided to spend half a day there after returning from St Moritz on the Bernina Express, and I was very glad we did. Lovely old town with the mountains as a backdrop. Plenty of very affordable cafe's for a drink whilst watching the trains slowly pass through the square. Due to a train strike instead of being here overnight we had to stay about 36 hours, which we really enjoyed, 3 of the best meals in Italy were all here. What a brilliant city Tirano (Turin) is!
What a brilliant city Tirano (Turin) is! Great museums - the mountaineering museum, the incredible egyptology museum with its huge collection, and the palace and attached art gallery including roman ruins. Terrific cafe's and restaurants of many cuisines, very walkable, and not as crowded as some other Italian cities. It was a great alternative to Milan on my trip from Barcelona to Venice - I flew into Tirano for a few days and then caught the train on to Venice. So easy. Just a note: I heard of a few instances of people mistaking the city of Tirano (Turin) for the town of Torino (where the Bernina Express originates/terminates). It is close to the train station if you take a trip on Bernina Express, it is close to shops and restaurants.
