The staff were amazing when my mother slipped and fell in the bathroom after a shower. Special thanks to Monique who upgraded us to a Jamaican breakfast, arranged for a doctor to come to to the hotel to assess my mothers injury's and even contacted me a few weeks after my trip to check on my mother.

I loved everything about the property, the staff the fresh food which you could see growing on the land... the sound of the rushing waters from the waterfall.. just everything was more than perfect ...left speechless and even cut my time somewhere else to spend my last days back at the hotel.

I have spent a lot of time at hotels for my birthday this is the first one that did not either greet me or provided at least a glass of wine.

Restaurants in Kingston (or probably whole Jamaika) took very long to make food, even fast food. Stood in line for long times usually. But other than that there were no problems. Nice supermarket nearby

There are a lot of optional tours available via different companies. It is advisable to book tours, as driving is somewhat unpredictable. For those who love Reggae, Ska and Dancehall music Kingston has it all. Trench Town and the Bob Marley museum are excellent tours. There is also the opportunity to book a personal recording session at the famous Tuff Gong studio, run by professional recording staff. A session can be booked on line. Four of us recorded "Don't worry about a thing", somewhat out of tune but great fun. The Blue mountains are beautiful and trips to the coffee plantations and the university are well worth it. There are a number of central hotels. I have enjoyed the "S" hotel and the Terra Nova.

Kingston is a great place for tourists who want to get to know the people. Vey great food not touristy but good. music flows through the city and nice parks like Devon House especially on Saturday and Sunday. Close to beaches and downtown is great for shopping but have to be careful because super crowded and busy.

Kingston is down to earth with plenty of great restaurants to satisfy your needs for different Jamaican cuisines as well as nice outdoor seatings for seafood american food chinese based food and plenty of great dishes. The weather is always nice and the people can be a little hard around the surface but most can be very friendly. Road rage is at its finest but the music is so nice and keeps you afloat. Plenty to do and places to visit withing minutes. I love it,,

Fabulous host in a fantastic location. A large country house overlooking Kingston from the aptly Ned Skyline ridge. Lorna is a superb cook serving the highest quality Jamaican dishes with exotic fruits and, of course, the world's best coffee from just up the Blue Mountains. She is also a rich source of balanced information that you will rarely glean while staying in a hotel or Air B&B .
You will need a car and be a competent, confident driver to get up the steep hills but it is genuinely worth it.
The cafe at Ragamuffin was fantastic with the best breakfast we had in Jamaica. The staff were extremely helpful, fun and friendly. We also liked the location as it was close to Devon House and the Bob Marley Museum. Our mattresses were very comfortable.
The location is ideally situated in a quiet secluded neighborhood in the city while being walking distance to shopping centers, parks and attraction centers like Devon House. The house was polite and very accommodating.
