The show stopper for me was the experience with the staff. Very hospitable, kind and friendly. Kudos Duncan, Purity and Trecy. The beautiful Trecy at the restaurant went out of her way to ensure I enjoyed my sumptuous fish meal. I felt home away from home, as a PWD. What an asset in an employee 💪! I will certainly recommend BW, Kisumu to anyone.

The location is in a green and quiet area. It has both a terras and a garden with seats. staff is very friendly and helpfull: when the shower gave only cold water, we immediately got access to another room for showering with warm water.

I have stayed many times over the past 15 years. I got food poisoning and was extremely sic from eating at the restaurant as did our colleagueeverything but the staff taking care to wash thier hands staying as a guest. Never eat there again. Lost 8 lbs in 24 hours.

This is the perfect hotel for a getaway, far but not super far from the main streets, up in the hills.  Hilllar and Roland, If it's not a Hillar then it's Roland, If it's not Roland then it's a Hillar who alternately compete in hospitality and kindness. Long ago they left their tribes and climbed the Hill from where they look at the lake Victoria, Kisumu city and maybe even you down there as you climb towards them because a small number of taxi drivers will bring you up there for a decent price, due to the bad roads.  These two guys are taking care of the property 24/7. Pass through their door is like the entrance to the castle where you will be greeted by perfectly clean sheets and possibly some noisy guests but above all you will be greeted by hospitality, common kitchen, reliable wi-fi and electricity, beautiful 265 degrees view, many trees and spacious green yard. These guys are fearless and will look after you and do everything to make your stay comfortable, pleasant, clean.  Even if you meet a few crawling creatures on the way, don't worry, they will catch them before they even enter the yard.  And don't forget to sometimes share food with these relaxed people, because they are far from their families.  But if necessary, Hillar will prepare a feast for you, from the menu.     Kisumu is a warm town.

    Kisumu is a warm town. Warm in the sense of the weather and the people. There is amazing food here and the city is quite beautiful. The lake view is breathtaking to say the least and the air is just pure and clean.

    Had been to Kisumu before but did not sight see on this occasion. I spent only a few hours overnight in order to catch an early flight the next morning, so am unable to comment on any other aspects of Kisumu

    VIP lounge restaurant was quite good.

    VIP lounge restaurant was quite good. The dj understood the visitors taste. The food at the lounge was good. Night spots around mamba and vundubars were awesome. Yet to go to ndere and other attractions. There should be a shuttle to take visitors to tourist attractions. We need more info about tourist attrctions in Kisumu area.

    The owner or manager Mr Pamalos was not available on check in inspite of him knowing my check out time and date. Later he requested me to pay him online to his bank. My funds were debited from my bank account twice and having chased him for refund, to date after 4 months I am still not paid back and there is no response from him! I feel this is very untrustworthy and Booking.com must remove them from this website!
