Our first visit to S Korea and we picked Jeju since we love nature and prefer to avoid crowded cities. Absolutely love the greenery and we were lucky it was hydrangea season hence we get to admire the beautiful flowers everywhere we go. Jeju is an island full of contrasts, where among basalt rocks we can find white sand beaches and cristaline turquoise waters. A delight to our eyes. It has a bit of everything. Mountains, folk villages, great museums, wonderful coastline, great food, lovely cafes, beautiful places to stay, lovely spots, waterfalls, caves, etc, etc. It is hard to describe the beauty of the island because one thing is to be there and another are the descriptions or photos that hardly make justice. if you ever heard about it that something is so beautiful, it makes you cry? I had that in Jeju. the views, the beaches, the mountains, the cliffs. the ilands smelled like citrus the whole time. locals were so welcoming although we did not understand each other :) as a female solo traveler I managed well. traveling through locations mostley with buses and taxis. I will definitly come back more than once. I did not want to go back to real life afterwards. for long walks lovers there are lots of walking trails here. Jeju had much in the way of landscape to offer.
Jeju had much in the way of landscape to offer. The museums and artist villages were lovely as well. I couldn't summit Hallasan due to snow, but the journey was unforgettable and the locals were super helpful. The sights were good and interesting.
The sights were good and interesting. But the local does not seems to welcome foreigners. I even got chase out of a restaurant at Dongmun market even though I explain that I was there to eat. We enjoy the walk at the waterfront. We also ate at a family run restaurant, the lady boss was a diver collecting abalone. We chat and she proudly show her catch to us.Guest review byE

Hotel is nearby to a lot seafood restaurants, supermarket and McDonald's. By foot, around 20 min, you can reach Dongmun market (sadly a lot stalls are selling souvenirs and same stuffs) / city area.
