The owner, Yeoli, provided an amazing welcome. We had corresponded prior to arrival and accepted the offer of her personally collecting us from the airport. We stopped at a beautiful viewpoint as well as at the supermarket to buy some provisions on the way to the apartment, which was extremely helpful. We were encouraged to treat the apartment as our home during our stay. Yeoli was available whenever we needed advice but never intruded on our privacy. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and comfortable with air conditioning in the bedroom. It is in an extremely pleasant neighbourhood and convenient to walk into the centre of Castries (15 minutes) from where we were able to access buses to many parts of the island. Yeoli gave us advice about places to visit and also contacted an excellent taxi driver and guide for us so that we could visit some attractions where it would have been difficult to manage using the buses. The beautiful apartment and the help offered by Yeoli helped to ensure that our first ever visit to the Caribbean was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The apartment was a lot bigger than photos. Great kitchen and bathroom, bed was super comfy. Air con was great.
The host was awesome. Super friendly and very helpful with information and what to do and see. Gave some great food recommendations. Host and family live next door - they have a gorgeous friendly dog who likes to say hello.

I had an amazing experience staying at Palm Grove Apartment in Saint Lucia. The space was modern, clean, and thoughtfully furnished—everything felt fresh and well-maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home.
What stood out most was the hospitality of the host, who was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and responsive throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, the process was smooth and hassle-free. Any questions or requests I had were quickly addressed, which made my stay even more comfortable.

Host is very nice and friendly
Castries is a harsh city. Not violet. But difficult to spend time in. It's not setup for tourists who are not in a resort or on a cruise. There are very few sit-down atmospheric restaurants and bars. It's a city for the locals and its a poor community. Everyone I met was very nice and friendly. They are wonderful people. But it's not what you might call 'charming'. The roads and traffic are a nightmare and a day here is enough. Rodney Bay is a much more vacation friendly place. I mostly enjoyed my stay here, but be prepared for confronting the results of colonial abuse and corruption. Frankly the locals are demonstrating a high degree of humility, love and forgiveness despite what our western ancestors have done to them, and are still doing. I learned something very important about western entitlement by staying here.

Castries town centre is charming with a nice market and several excellent restaurants. People of St.Lucia are really friendly and always happy to help you out. There are plenty of shops stocking local and some international goods, especially the shops on-route to Rodney Bay.
Choc beach near Castries was beautiful, clean & quiet with very calm sea waves. Excellent for swimming including children. We found the beach to be very quiet all day long with only a handful of people passing by, so ideal for sunbathing too. The Sunsets are magical.

I enjoyed the Cacoa Chocolate Factory and the chocolate. The mud bath; the water falls the botanical gardens and the Piton mountains. It’s mountainous which makes for very beautiful views of the island.

I enjoyed Castries.
I enjoyed Castries. Getting around is an adventure - coming from a place where we drive on the other side of the road. It's not difficult to adjust. The people, in general, are mostly friendly. Except for restaurants, no one takes larger bills and the banks close early. The food was great everywhere we went and it's a beautiful island! I'll certainly vacation here again!

Busy, crowded and impoverished.
Busy, crowded and impoverished. Its a shame for the people there, tourism is all they have and they are getting priced out of their own home. Basic grocery shopping trip costs a fortune, locals are getting a raw deal. Heart breaking to see.

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in Castries, Saint Lucia! The location was ideal, close to all the main attractions and amenities. The property was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and always available to answer any questions or provide local recommendations. I especially enjoyed the tranquility and the lovely surroundings.
If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Castries, I highly recommend this one!
We were only there for one night. We weren't happy with the room we were initially given but they rectified this immediately. The food at the fine dining was excellent. Staff are very helpful. The hotel organised a free tour to Pidgeon Island, with stops at other places of interest in the north of the island, for guests, with lunch included, which was much appreciated. The location is outside Castries but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Overall, an enjoyable stay.
Vee is a very hospitable and nice host. She helps wherever possible and even made a meal upon arrival when the restaurant was actually closed. The place has a great restaurant and terrace overlooking the valley. facilities were also good, everything present in the kitchen etc. location is central, 20m to Castries, 50m to Souffriere. I recommend it.
John and Shirley have a great place here overlooking the harbour. The view is great and the balcony is excellent to sit on at all times to watch the harbour below.
Clean apartment with free parking and WiFi.
Local taxi runs can be easily arranged for you.
