Amazing to be right in the rainforest. The walk up to view the Piton (forget which one) was easily accessible. We also walked down to the sulphur springs (probably not advisable as walking on the main road is a bit hairy, but it was only about 40 minutes and we survived).
Pools were good, clean and quiet whenever we visited. Clean pool towels are available at reception.
Only one restaurant on site, but it was decent. We ate there both nights we stayed. The restaurant and bar staff were all really friendly.
We had a room rather than a cabin, it was simple but clean and had everything we needed.
Overall really our stay.
Free range chickens, cats, other birds of all kinds and lizards on site.

Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. We loved our stay at Green Fig, and loved the ease of being able to organise excursions through the hotel, especially with Kelsey's knowledgeable help. Our room had a great view of the Petit Piton, which was wonderful to wake up to each morning!

Good location, close to supermarket. Kitchen has minimal crockery and pots etc. Within walking distance to Botanical Gardens. Would be good to have name of accommodation on street front so easy to find.

The whole area looks like paradise. The people are nice and friendly, lots of restaurants and things to do. Roads are a little narrow and there are potholes and access to some of the beaches is through bad roads therefore definetly recommend an SUV to just not care about this aspect.

Soufrierre was a highlight during our week of independent travel in st. Lucia. So many nearby attractions , yet its a quaint small town. We actually walked to the diamond mine botanical gardens and thermal baths. A variety of restaurants (Fedo’s has a wonderful veg plate) are walkable but there is also a supermarket and local market for self catering. The easily assessable lovely public beach is clean and has clear water perfect for a refreshing dip. Sitting there in the evening with the petite piton as the view is a memorable image.

Soufriere was great.
Soufriere was great. Often closed early or all day with the Independence Day celebrations. Parking made it difficult to explore Soufriere. Wish better parking option in town. People in town were the nicest and always so kind!!!

Excellent area to stay in for a St Lucia vacation because of proximity to many of the great places to visit on the island, most of which are south of town. We rented a house just outside of Soufrière which avoided the late-night town noise that we read can be an issue with some in-town locations. We found lots of great restaurants in the area and especially enjoyed the local dishes which came with several tasty sides.
Nearby places visited in order (all good): Day 1. Toraille Waterfall, New Jerusalem Mineral Baths, Grand Eden Estate (booked tour); 2. Soufrière DriveIn Volcano ($15 combo ticket bought there: mineral/mud baths + tour + access to Sulphur Springs Park Interpretation Centre), Fond Doux Eco Resort. (45-min “A Taste of Fond Doux Private Walking Tour” booked through TripAdvisor), Têt Paul Nature Trail, Malgretoute Beach, Piton Falls + mineral baths; 3. Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, Anse Mamin Beach. Other 4 days we went elsewhere on St Lucia.
Nearby Restaurants we had dinner at (all good; most selected for view to enjoy while eating): Dream Restaurant, La Belvedere, Mango Tree*, Seashell Beach Restaurant, The View*, and Treetop*. *reservation recommended/needed.
USD cash and credit cards accepted everywhere. No need to exchange money. Recommend bringing lots of small bills for tips and to be able to pay exact amount for fees to avoid getting change in XCD.
Best to rent car. 4WD needed. Main roads in St Lucia are fairly good (being re-surfaced early in 2025) albeit narrow with many switchbacks, those leading to beaches and other places worth visiting are very narrow and rough with lots of potholes. Drive on left in St Lucia.

There is not much to do in Soufriere without independent transport. The waterfall and pool are worth visiting (pack your bathing suit!), a short walk from the property. I took a bus to Canaries, a very quiet small fishing village in the next bay. Interesting but not much else.
Of course, great for those who intend climbing the Pitons.

So much positivity for the location . It’s genuinely wow. Close to the activities round Soufriere and easily accessible by car. The rooms all have spectacular views of the bay and petit piton.
It was quiet and friendly . The staff were tested as there are not enough but my god were they charming . A real asset .
The pools are small but ideal for just lingering in and reading . Loungers comfy
The room was immaculate, kept fastidiously clean . Air con worked . Great shower and tv . All great in this area.
Well-equipped and spacious apartment, nice view of the Petit Piton from the balcony.
Parking just outside the building.
Supermarket just 400 meters away.
City centre of Soufriere just 10 minutes walking distance.
A beautiful location -- high up and hard to get to without a taxi -- but that is the reality of Soufriere unless you choose to stay in the town. The rooms are a great size and the pool and views are stunning
The apartment was spacious and clean. Large bathroom and a large comfortable bed. The main attraction, though, is the balcony & the view over Soufriere.
