A Hidden Gem in Yala! We had an unforgettable stay at The Wardens House, a secluded and luxurious hideaway near Yala National Park. With only four beautifully designed rooms, the hotel offers an unmatched sense of privacy and personalized service. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Our guide Kelum was outstanding—extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and culture of Sri Lanka, and passionate about sharing it with us. The safaris were not only exciting but also deeply enriching. The culinary experience was another highlight. Every day we were offered a fresh and diverse menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The drink selection was also great with carefully curated drinks. If you're looking for tranquility, high-level hospitality, and a deep connection to nature, The Wardens House is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return one day!

My mom and I stayed at Go Yala farm, and it was such a great experience. The place is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature, and so peaceful, perfect for escaping the city. There’s also a yoga space with a lovely view, which made for some really relaxing sessions. The rooms are new, clean, and spacious, which made our stay super comfortable. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. One of the best parts was exploring the farm and banana plantation they have on-site, it’s really interesting, and we spotted lots of birds around the area too, not just the peacocks! The internet was great, which was important for me as I work online, and the food was incredible, especially the coconut pancakes 😁 We also took advantage of their Yala National Park tour, and they planned everything for us, we didn't have to worry about a thing. It was safe, well-organized, and we saw so many different animals, which I loved. I'd definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a lot of nature to explore.

The place is new and all the amenities like AC etc work quite well. This was a godsend in the heat. There is a lake 5 mins walk from the place and it was gorgeous. We enjoyed a few hours of birdwatching there! The property is bang in the middle of the forest so it's beautiful and quiet. But most of my all our experience was made great by the lovely family that works there. The food is excellent best meal we'd had in Srilanka and it was made and served with such affection and hospitality. I cannot recommend this enough. In an area like Yala a place like this is even more rare.
