From its picturesque cobblestone streets to the charming old town, every corner of this city feels steeped in history, yet full of vibrant life. I loved the mix of old and new – medieval architecture sits alongside modern cafes, trendy bars, and art galleries. The Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site and definitely worth exploring, with its cozy squares, stunning churches, and quaint streets. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and it’s easy to walk everywhere. I highly recommend visiting the Gediminas Tower for panoramic views of the city and taking a stroll along the beautiful river that runs through Vilnius. Vilnius is also known for being incredibly affordable compared to other European capitals. Dining out is a delight – from local Lithuanian dishes to international flavors, there’s something for every palate. The cafes are perfect for people-watching, and the overall vibe is welcoming and laid-back. I also loved how green the city is. There are plenty of parks, and the surrounding nature is perfect for a peaceful getaway. The city’s public transportation system is efficient and easy to use, making it convenient to explore all the wonderful sights. Overall, Vilnius is a charming, vibrant, and affordable destination that I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique European experience. Amazing city.
Amazing city. So many places to visit a lot of historical monuments and old buildings as well as new trendy places. The food all the cafes and restaurants great huge variety where everyone can find what they enjoy. It is easy to reach any part of the city with public transport and all in the center is within walking distance. Moreover, the city is very clean and safe. People are very helpful and nice. Loved wondering around the old town and discovering small shops and coffee places. It's so great and romantic. Vilnius is a nice place to be. There are plenty of restaurants for a very reasonable price and the staff usually speaks English. The town is pretty with a nice historical centre. The problem is that there is nothing that stands out. It's a great place to be, if you have a reason to be there.
