Right on the Atlantic Ocean, the cosmopolitan Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco, although Rabat is the political capital. This colorful city features lively traditional markets and narrow streets full of spices and aromas.
Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Hassan II Mosque has the tallest minaret in the world. Made of hand-crafted marble, this beautiful mosque blends Islamic architecture with Moroccan elements. Situated in the heart of Morocco, the modern Port of Casablanca is the largest one in North Africa and one of the largest artificial ports in the world.

You could arrive in the morning visit Medina & Mosque and leave in the afternoon - I'm surprised I'm saying this but for me that was reality.

Very nice city, very kind and generous people that went out of their way to make our trip and many things to see and do. The Hassan Mosque is a must visit!! We also enjoyed walking the back streets of the old Medina and feeling completely safe. Where we stayed was a good location in what appeared to be a safe neighbourhood.

After visiting Marrakech and Rabat, Casablanca was the final destination of our trip. We stayed here for 5 days (including 1 day trip to El Jadida and 1 day of pure relaxation), so we had 3 days for sight seeing. 3 days of sight seeing was just the right amount for us.
Places we can recommend to visit:
1.Day:
Old Medina
Marina Mall
Hasan II Mosque
Promenade stroll to El Hank Lighthouse
2.Day:
Villa of Arts
Arab League Parc
(Sacred Heart Cathedral)
Palais de Justice
Parc Murdoc
Habous Old Town (Olive market + butchers market)
Central market
3.Day:
Casa Voyageur
Anfa Park and Place des financiér
Aeria Mall
Plage Aïn Diab
Places that were a little bit disappointing:
Mohammes V Square
United nation square
Bd Mohammed V
Church of Notre Dame of Lourdes

Hassan II mosque is a must-visit.
Hassan II mosque is a must-visit. Visit Marina shopping, where there is a good restaurant, MOODS, for lunch. Visit Rick's cafe and stroll along the walkway to reach the Hassan II mosque and pass far beyond for a complete view from both sides. Stop by an Italian restaurant, Pomo Dolce, by crossing the street, for some good food. We have visited Fes, Chefchaouen, Marrakech, and a few other cities in Morocco. So, we skip the Medina but visit the cathedral instead.
A day in Casablanca could be enough.

Casablanca is a big city.
Casablanca is a big city. There were few local craftspeople in the medina - the rest were selling packaged branded clothes like nike, adias etc., unlike the medina in Marrakesh. It didn't seem as genuine and also didn't open until noonish. We didn't see many outside restaurant tables for dining. The airport is a long way from the city and transport costs $50 for two people and takes about an hour. The airport has an exceptionally long immigration queue to get out of - we stood in line for over an hour to get through it. Of course, there was an entitled American woman who cut the line, claiming she HAD to BOARD her plane. This caused panic in the group, and everyone started surging forward. Get to the airport 4 hours as recommended for traveling internationally from Casablanca. Don't be that person.

Liked everything! Excellent value for money and quality. We arrived at midnight and were quickly and comfortably checked in. Everyone at the reception was very friendly, just like everywhere else in Morocco. Excellent breakfast in a bright room with large windows and a beautiful view of the city. This was our first stop in Morocco and this hotel did not disappoint and left a pleasant impression of the country. Thanks for the hospitality!
Very good location, next to Casa Voyagers train station (5/10 min walking) and a mall attached to it.
There is a bus that takes you to any spot or you can take the petit taxi.
Only stayed for a night so not much to report on, however it was nice to stay in a normal hotel after all the riads and dars in Morocco :D
The decor of the hotel - traditional Moroccan. Very good breakfast. Helpful staff. Good value. We asked for a restaurant recommendation and one member of staff escorted us to one which was about ten minutes away and it was pretty good (compared to the average in Morocco)
the location to the airport, its like 3 min only, the staff are very kind and helpful, very welcoming atmosphere, the food is good too, the morning breakfast by the garden is the best, and th most important the Hotel is sure quite, :)
