It was right in the middle of the center, super close to almost everywhere. Really worthy of money. Friendly staff. They helped us to arrange a trip to Cap Spartel, and we met with one of the best drivers👍🏼 then he took us to the beaches and the price was really good. If you book this hotel I recommend to ask for Mohammed as a driver😊 they gave us clean towels everytime whenever we asked. The people on the reception were really friendly, nice and well mannered.

Tangier is often described as the face of Morocco and is a city full of mystery and natural beauty. Its close proximity to the foot of Europe makes it a popular stopover and day trip for cruise boat travellers and tourists visiting Spain.
If you’re planning a day of sightseeing ensure to visit the Musée d'Art Contemporain de la Ville de Tanger, The Kasbah Museum, Grand Socco, and the lively souks, which are filled with a variety of spices, foods and fashion.
Tangier has a vibrant nightlife and a cosmopolitan and cultural vibe. The vibe is reflected in the cafés, bars and restaurants located across the beachfront and along the narrow streets lining The Kasbah, Mercado and Medina.
Hercules Cave is located 14 km from the city centre and is ideal for a day trip, afterwards you can enjoy some of the best coastal views Tangier has to offer with a visit to the Mnar Park aquatic park.

On this trip, we were in Tangier, Fes and Marrakesh.
On this trip, we were in Tangier, Fes and Marrakesh. Hands down Tangier was my favorite of the 3 cities. The daytime medina was easy to navigate (although we were told to stay out after dark as it was dangerous). The weather at the end of May was perfect. We spent day 1 walking around essentially without a map and never feeling lost. We spent day 2 with a driver seeing the various sites that were a bit further away. Cave of Hercules is a bit over priced but I don't regret going. Cafe Hafa had awful food service (although the tea service was almost instantaneous) but I would return again. We had dinner at the Restaurant Saveur de Poisson (2 min walk). The fish was amazing but there was definitely too much food and I'm glad our waiter forgot to bring the soup so I had room in my stomach for the last course of fish and the amazing dessert.

Poor breakfast service: The breakfast experience was below expectations, with inattentive staff, long delays, and inconsistent food availability.
No working phone in the room: The room phone was not functional throughout my stay, making it impossible to contact reception or room service directly. The service person cam but never fixed the phone.
No soap or basic toiletries upon check-in: The room lacked essential hygiene items, such as soap, which should be standard. I had to see the recetion twice to get this resolved.
Extremely delayed ice delivery: Ice was requested but delivered only after excessive delay, even after repeated follow-ups.
Lack of local tourist information: The front desk only provided a hop-on-hop-off bus schedule. No general city maps or guides were available, which would have been helpful for exploring Tangier.
No daily water replenishment: A water bottle was provided only on the day of arrival. No additional water was supplied during the rest of the stay, which is not acceptable for a hotel of your category.

The medina is all right, but best part for us was going to Cap Spartel and Chefchahouen. You can explore the medina on your own (unless you want a guide to do so, albeit it will mostly be for shopping). A tour (Xauen, booked via GYG) to Chefchahouen is interesting - we had Chaimae as a driver and Najibe as a guide, both were great. Stopover in Tetouan was brief but sufficient. Had a great chicken pastilla at Marchan Park cafe in Tangier and great breakfasts at the riad Tanja by chef Mona 😊

It was interesting for us to visit Morocco for the first time. We drove, and I must say driving is much different than in most of Europe. You have to be assertive and should not count on others being polite in traffic. We bought several things at the local market and tried some local food as well. Fruit is really inexpensive compared to European prices. It helps to have cash in the local currency, but some vendors accept Euros as well.
We drove to Cap Spartel and did camel rides on the seashore. It was a wonderful experience. In the evening, we ate at the restaurant not far from the lighthouse. Before we left, we had traditional breakfast and Moroccan mint tea at a restaurant not far from the shore. All in all, Morocco is worth visiting and exploring.

Tangier is special.
Tangier is special. Being able to see Africa and Europe at the same time is amazing, we loved wandering the streets of the Medina and everyone was friendly and helpful. A very chilled vibe, with not too many tourists and lots of interesting things to see. I wish we had stayed longer than two nights.

Really lovely, if quirky, "bijou" hotel in old building(s) located right in the Kasbah area of the old Medina, so all main attractions are within a short walk. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant if you prefer to dine in the hotel (we did!!). Perfect for a short visit to see the old town of Tangier.
Great location just behind the Hotel Continental and in the medina. The rooftop terrace is great to hang out and has a good view of the beach and the city. Breakfast was alright and the rooms were tidy. Cleanliness wasn't an issue. Would recommend when staying in Tangier.
Easy access to everything. Ten-minute walk (at most) from Tanger Ville port, right in the Medina. The hotel is basic and provides the essentials: great breakfast, lively café mixed with locals and tourists, good cheap restaurants nearby. Beds firm and comfy. Felt secure.
I am frequent traveler.one of the best hotel with prime location and very helpful & amazing staff. It is very very clean near to beach and walking distance from main town center, if I go Tangier that is only hotel I will stay.
