There are plenty of great places to eat and have a drink, but it’s definitely not the place to relax or find some peace and quiet! The area is often noisy, with lots of young people (both locals and tourists), especially in the evening and at night. We have been coming to St Julian’s for over 20 years and love it. It has everything you need from good bars and restaurants a beach and two shopping malls.. St Julians was lovely.
St Julians was lovely. We weren't sure what to expect as after we had booked we found differing of opinions on the place but it wasn't at all bad. There was one street that was loud and full of bars and younger people but really wasn't an issue and could very easily be avoided if that is not for you. The area is quite seedy and run down.
The area is quite seedy and run down. It's very very noisy with lots of drinkers and clubbers, stag and hen do's and large groups of men. There is very significant construction going on in the whole area and traffics is very congested so getting about is slow and laborious when using public transport and taxi.
