Callantsoog is a nice little spot.
Callantsoog is a nice little spot. For me it was all about reminiscing seeing we spent numerous family vacations nearly 50 years ago. Some cute little shops and eateries but best were the beach pavilions if you want to dine with an ocean view. This hotel is not good value for money.
This hotel is not good value for money. Our room and balcony were not clean. The ventilation didn't work. The lift didn't work. There were no basic tea/coffee facilities in the room so a morning brew meant a walk down two floors to the restaurant. Callantsoog is my favorite stay since 60 years.
Callantsoog is my favorite stay since 60 years. I love the beach with all its activities, the sourroundings and small cities. Must do is: Friesenmarkt in Schagen, Käsemarkt in Alkmaar, Kunstmarkt in Bergen. Wandering by bike or by feet in the dunes of Schoorl, Bergen, Den Helder.Guest review byMonikaGermany

There is a huge parking place right in front of the hotel. The breakfast room was pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. The pool and whirlpool was nice, even if a bit colder than we would expect.
