The room was cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake and snow-covered scenery right outside our window, the location truly turned into a magical winter wonderland.
Breakfast was delicious and a lovely start to our day, host was warm and welcoming.
The location was fantastic- peaceful, scenic and well connected.
Highly recommend this place for anyone, looking for relaxing and memorable getaway.it was wonderful experience and would love to stay here again.

I always come back to Lake Tekapo for the breathtaking views of the lake and its turquoise waters. Highly recommend for first time travellers. TIP for first timers: Start your trip from Christchurch and drive down south to see Lake Tekapo and Lake Pukaki and if you have more time drive further to see Lake Ōhau. This is the real NZ with its beautiful lakes! We loved the walking trails and the tranquility of the lake. The restaurants and cafes were good quality and the supermarket was very well stocked for every need. We did a stargazing experience which was amazing but if we had stayed longer we would have done more walking trails and maybe a drive to Mount Cook for a closer look. Why build a row of shops and restaurants that face away from the lake and mountains!. The eateries and facilities are functional but not warm and friendly at all. Greedy Cow Cafe has lots of delicious breakfast items and our favorites are their croissant with bacon/chicken or ham/cheese and bacon/egg. Coffee is up to standard. Price is reasonable! Nice seating area. Restaurants in the area have limited choices on the menu and prices are on the high side.
