Raglan has a very chill vibe…super relaxed and the locals are helpful and friendly. Some great places to eat, with something for everyone and every budget…
TeToro gorge is a must visit unless you suffer from vertigo! The views are stunning, and it’s only a short drive south of Raglan, albeit partly gravel road.

Great that there is the Wharf Cafe just across the road, we went numerous times, Fish & Chips @ the Wharf was best ever, Sunset cruise was Fab and Barlow (Captain) was awesome. Bridal Veil Falls was a lovely little bushwalk to a great scene.

We loved Raglan for a restful holiday away from work stresses. The village has a lovely vibe, great variety of quality places to eat for such a small place and it is so pretty.
We loved the cafe La La Land - amazing coffee and delicious sweets - the Chocolate Cherry Pie was out of this world!
We went on beautiful drives and walks, and took so many pictures. Sitting down by the water relaxing with a good book and watching the wading birds, kingfishers and gulls and watching the young boys jumping off the bridge into the river was a highlight. We will definitely go back.

Amazing beaches. Great surf I think (lots of board riders out there). Great vibe all around the area. Really friendly locals. Harbour View Hotel has excellent food; also the Shack for lunch was great. Lots of neat shops to check out. PB23 (local) peanut butter is great!

The place is located in a rural area, fair distance outside Raglan. I liked the location, nice view of the sea in the distance. Not too far to a nice beach, and also not too far from a beautiful waterfall (bridal veil falls). Very nice house (which you share with other quests). We had our own bathroom and room, rest of facilities is shared. The hot tub is shockingly small, can only fit one person at a time, and in a bit of an akward place. View from porch is great.
Beautiful accomodation! Spacious and cosy yurt located in secluded Nikau forest. Great facilities with cute outdoor spa. Very welcoming hosts. Only minutes from raglan town by car but didn’t feel like that once back at the yurt. Look forward to visiting again for a relaxing weekend away from the big city.
A really unique accommodation in a super Raglan location. Comfortable and warm. Nice, private courtyard with views to the harbour. Walking distance to town.
