We stayed in the premium overwater bungalow which was incredible and then the beach bungalow which was equally amazing. The location is perfect and in walking distance shops and restaurants / bars (go to Moorea beach club and Maitai). The pool area is also great and staff are super helpful with plenty of small unexpected touches. Can highly recommend doing a lagoon snorkeling tour with lunch and hiring e-bikes for the day and stopping for lunch at Snack Mahana. The water isn’t was blue as at the Hilton / Sofitel but it is beautiful. If you want an overwater bungalow pay for the premium one, the lagoon facing bungalows are shallow. We cannot recommend the beach bungalow highly enough though.
Boasting a garden, bar and views of sea, Moorea Golf Lodge is set in Maharepa, 1.2 km from Temae Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a pool table, free private parking and free WiFi.

The manager Kevin was incredible. More than helpful in every way, booking our trips for us and getting discounts on them, came fishing with me in the sea organising our breakfasts. The accommodation was well equipped and perfect for us and what we needed. We enjoyed the walk to Tamae beach, and the snorkelling there was awesome. Really enjoyed getting up early and seeing the sunrise from the small beach of the accommodation, opening coconuts that had washed up and even seeing whales not far off in the sea. We had use of some bikes free of charge (they could do with a little bit of maintenance Kevin), which enlarged our area of exploration and Kevin also rents cars out too (though we didn't). Some people have mentioned that it is a little far from anywhere, but all three trips that Kevin organised for us had pick up included so we didn't feel isolated in anyway. We had an amazing time there and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for making our stay so special Kevin.

This is a lovely place to stay in Moorea. Laurent is a warm and friendly host. The accommodation is wonderfully clean and well presented. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Ensuite is great. There is air-conditioning and a fan, both welcome in the humid heat. The setting is just wonderful, in a beautiful tropical garden with a lovely pool and area to relax along side it. There is a view of the sea, you can hear the ocean, and see the waves breaking on the outer reef. There is an outdoor kitchen above the bungalow, everything you would need including hot plate, microwave, fridge and washing machine. A lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal with the view. A word of caution to those who are less able: there are quite a lot of steps up to the bungalow as it is set on the side of a hill (but the best way to profit from the view). Laurent kindly carried my suitcase up for me. Just a minute or two walk down the road to the corner is a supermarket, which is very handy. I highly recommend this as a place to stay in Moorea.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is great with very attentive pool bar staff. Room was a good size and balcony was great. We had scooters from Moorea Fun Bikes which was a great bonus to be able to explore Moorea and have options. We also did a great snorkeling trip with Captain Taina which then gave us access to what we found to be the best beach area on Moorea.
Set within a unique tropical garden beside the lagoon, Hôtel Fenua Mata'i'oa features a bar and an on site restaurant. Guests at this waterfront property can relax in the outdoor hot tub.

The staff at the resort were friendly and helpful.
The staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. Everything was super clean and well cared for.
We rented E-bikes and had a wonderful afternoon exploring the island by ourselves.
Taking a taxi to other places for meals was no problem just be certain they are open that day.
The island is very quiet in the evenings. The locals( the the guests too) live by the sun...early to rise and early to bed.

It was an amazing experience for me and my group. We loved everything about our stay. We stayed in the Garden view and pool bungalow and also the Premium Overwater bungalow, having our own private pool and being able to have a swim right by our Overwater bungalow was the highlights of our stay. Great facilities around the resort. I highly recommend Manava beach Resort to others.

Wonderful host, great area, comfortable little cabin, clean, nice layout, close to restaurants and the sea, great value. Before arriving at Maharepa we stayed at a different accomodation and moving to Maharepa really improved our overall experience on the island! Highly recommend this place
