Our stay was very comfortable, the facilities were amazing (rooms look like they'd been updated since the photos which was a pleasant surprise). You have a mini lodge/villa to yourself, kettle, mugs etc, little porch area, closed off fence around the front garden. The pool looked immaculate( unfortunately no time to use it) and restaurant and bar looked good with variety of choice. A tuktuk was organised for us in seconds and we even did the spa trip as advertised in the rooms. The walls weren't thin, shower and bathroom spacious, comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

After a two ferries, two buses and a tricycle in hot humid heat this was a little oasis. A bit worried at first as the tricycle driver did not know the name but once we showed him what was close by on google maps be got us straight there. We arrived earlier than planned but was warmly checked in early by the owners. Arrived on the day the resteraunt opened for the first time and although food was not being served until 4pm, we were offered lunch. The menu was small but varied and all cooked fresh and was delicious we had dinner in the resteraunt one even and were treated to homemade ice cream. All staff were very attentive and friendly. Rooms were comfortable, modern and very clean. The shower was amazing, toiletries were provided and even the bum gun was warm. Fresh towels provided daily, with seperate pool towels available. Aircon was amazing. We were told by the owners we were the first to book on booking.com. Restaurants, bars and the beach is only a short walk away but the staff can get you a tricycle if required. They also booked us a car to take us to the airport. Well worth a visit would not hesitate to recommend. Wish them all the best for the future.

We had an amazing experience at this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived, the owners, Charles and Eda, welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness. They were incredibly sweet, always smiling, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were always around, checking in to see how we were doing, asking about our plans, and offering to help. The room was simple but had everything we needed. The peaceful location just outside the city (10-15 minutes walking distance) was a nice escape from the tourist crowds. Every morning, we were served a lovely breakfast on our private terrace at a time we chose. During our stay, I got sick and the owners immediately stepped in and helped by getting the medicine I needed. It truly shows how much they care about their guests. We cannot recommend it enough. Great hotel, amazing hostes and a good price. A big thank you to the wonderful hosts, Charles and Eda (and Eda’s sweet son who helped out as-well)you made our trip so special!

had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly kind, always attentive, and truly went out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. You can really feel that they care about their guests. The location is great, right by the sea, with direct access to snorkeling. I even had the chance to swim with turtles just a few steps from the hotel, which was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

    Been in Moalboal in 2023 and you could really see the difference, beaches and Sardine run/Turtles were covered with dirt (in the water). Barangay should understand that if they go on like this: Moalboal will be almost empty within 10 years....what a shame! Environmental fee should be used properly! And the deal with all trike drivers to charge 50 peso a person is also outracheous... not funny if you travel all around the Philippines and you only encounter something like that in Moalboal.

    Lovely little village which has everything tourists could need or want in a relatively small area. For us, it was a bit too touristy and especially the beach area where you can go in the water to see the turtles and sardines. This was totally out of control with way too many people and no sense that the "environmental charges" were being put to good use (or any use for that matter). They need to urgently restrict the numbers of people entering the water here to protect the wildlife and the very reason people come to Moalboal.

    Moalboal is a very good base to do nature adventures - sardine runs, sunbathing, chasing waterfalls, canyoneering, hiking, or simply eating & drinking & having a good & safe time & chilled if one simply wants to relax, in a good budget way!!! Locals were very nice, public transportations abound, and nearby cities’ attractions are very accessible either by motorbike or Ceres Bus (cheaper if 2 options) and budget friendly.

    Did 4 days in Moalboal and squeezed in Canyoneering, snorkelling with sardines & turtles & a boat trip & watched the sunset at White Beach Loved the centre, loads of nice food places for breakfast & dinner and lovely bars. Had great food at Hungry Monkeys, Greek Taverna, Mercado food hall and breakfast at Bawud & Chief Mau Panagsama beach great for snorkelling, we sat at Cabana both days we did this and used as a base buying drinks & snacks and heading in & out if the sea. White beach nice for swimming & watching the sunset. We rented a little hut and there was a bar next door for drinks & food. The canyoneering was the most fun activity I have ever done

    If one wants to explore the adventurous trip and want to do canyoneering, saradine, whale shark, different waterfall, make sense to make Moalboal as base rather than making trip from cebu city, which takes 3-4 hours one way. I just wish Moalboal have more option on resort like properties at decent price.

    Anonymous My stay in Moalboal was absolutely wonderful—this place truly has a special charm! If you're planning a visit, don’t miss out on the Kawasan Falls. The crystal-clear turquoise water and lush surroundings make it a must-see. Whether you're just there to admire the falls or take part in canyoneering, it's an unforgettable adventure. Another highlight was swimming with sardines and sea turtles right off the Moalboal beach. It’s such a unique experience to be surrounded by a massive school of sardines and then spot a peaceful turtle gliding by—it feels like you’re swimming inside a nature documentary! For food lovers, I would recommend Smooth Café on Panagsama Rd. It quickly became one of my favorite spots for breakfast and other meals. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with plenty of healthy options and good coffee. It’s the perfect place to start or end your day in Moalboal. Moalboal is the perfect destination for those who love nature, adventure, and underwater beauty. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for both relaxation and excitement. Can’t wait to return!

    Quiate and peaceful hotel right on the beach. You can snorkel right from the beach to nice reef and see sea turtles every time and many of them! Some coral and colourful fishes. Pool very nice and good breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Helps you with all you ask. Hotel has a shuttle bus. Not far from moalboal restaurants and bars, just a minute or two with motorbike. Staff helps you with motorbike rental from close by rental place. Hotel is renovating rooms one by one, just finished first when we were there. Didnt cause any disturbance.

    The Manager of the hotel was really kind and helpful! We had problems with our phone and he gave us a free ride to Moalboal centre and helped us to get it fixed. You can also book tours directly in the hotel, like canyoning. He also helped us getting a cheap trycycle to the busstation (50 pesos each). We can really recommend it! :)

    Good size,clean apartment on the way to White Beach(10min on scooter).Good snorkling!Get into the water as far as you can walk towards the right hand side of the beach. The current will slowly take you towards the right. There are healthy corals, the odd turtles and sea snakes. Out of the touristy,overpriced Panagsama!

    We had a great stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Garden and room are very clean. We had comfortable beds , a quiet Aircon and hot shower. The guesthouses are in a quiet location not far from white beach. We could easily reach everything with the rented scooter.we will be back if we are in Moalboal.
