The ambiance. The relaxed mood we could feel coming from the patrons who were in the restaurant when we arrived. The gentleness of spirit of the staff . The night time plant in the room was a good choice. The kiwi yogurt for breakfast . I've never had a kiwi yogurt before.

This was the ideal location for us visiting my wife's family in her birth town. Everything that we needed as a base was here. The apartment was clean and fresh throughout. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was a sofa and armchair to lounge on in the bedroom if you wanted to spent some time relaxing. The kitchen was equipped for our needs. This was particularly useful when our daughter flew in to join us for a few days, although she was staying a few minutes drive away, each morning I could collect her and we could plan the day together over breakfast. The bathroom was modern and equipped with a washing machine which is essential for a longer visit. Parking is on site which made life easy to pack and unpack the car, which with the extra home comforts that driving allows, compare to flying, was a great relief! The garden is beautiful and is like a labyrinth of smaller gardens in one. A lovely place to sit with a coffee. Although we were there mainly to visit family, we did go into Gubin centre on occasion and it is only a five minute walk from the apartment. There is also a petrol station and supermarket a few minutes away to stock your fridge and keep your car on the move. Our host Arek, was always on hand to help with anything that was needed. Top man!
