We had a disappointing experience at this Hilton location. We went for dinner with our 1.5-year-old baby, who was quietly playing with a balloon. Instead of understanding or offering any hospitality, the manager was unexpectedly rude and dismissive. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from a hotel brand that prides itself on customer service. Families with young children should feel welcome, not embarrassed. Very disappointed with the way we were treated. On top of that, the food was very average and didn’t taste fresh at all — not what we expected from a Hilton restaurant. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. We chose Hilton expecting quality and service, but unfortunately, it fell short on both. Hotel name : Souk kitchen

Abu samrah is good for a long drive from Doha. A calm and quiet town far from the busy Doha. It's best to drive around at day time as the view on both sides of road gives a totally different vibe with vast area of deserted lands and lots of camel farms. Food options are very limited . Don't forget to take a stop in Sidra petrol station to grab your snacks . Few options available are Karak Maqnes for yummy burgers and pasta and of course the karak, LAP cafe and Golden Spoon cafeteria.

Overall had a fantastic time. We stayed in 2 bedroom townhouse which was huge and had everything we needed. Great food and wonderfully attentive staff. The water park and go-karts were enjoyed by our teenage children who loved every minute of it. We stayed for 5 days which was too short, will certainly go back.

We thought the hotel was good value for money as the facilities were better than any of the other hotels we had seen in Doha even though the price was basically the same. The beach was large and service was excellent. Hotel pool was wonderful and staff were extremely helpful. Lots of space. Breakfast was amazing, staff extremely helpful.

It was a great day out. The place is new with great blend of contemporary and classic architecture. It is a large resort and I feel we could have done with an additional day to explore it fully. We were given an early check in at 1300 which was very good. We stayed in the Queens Suite which has 2 double beds. The room was ok size, slightly smaller than what I anticipated. The kids headed straight to the water park which is complementary for the staying guests. Water was on the colder side but kids, once they got through the initial cold shock, thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff are welcoming and courteous. Their is a complementary kids club where younger kids can play with other kids. You can leave them with the carers at the club. However, under 3 yrs need one of the parents to stay. I tried the Kitchen Souk buffet. The ambiance was great, staff were nice and courteous - food taste could have been better. Was given a complementary pizza from the nearby Italian restaurant. Did not get the chance to explore the beach because kids went to the waterpark the next day also! All in all a great outing
