Located in prime position overlooking lake , close to all attractions. The lake view room is worth the upgrade as other rooms overlook the front entrance to the hotel and car park . The staff are friendly and helpful.

Lake Bled is one of the most beautiful settings that we have ever witnessed. It is postcard-like with numerous small cafes and shops right along the very picturesque lake. Strolling along the boundaries of the lake and absorbing some of the views is breathtaking. While it does get busy and traffic can be a bit of a nightmare, it is still a very relaxing and beautiful setting to enjoy. We would definitely recommend a stop in Bled in you are anywhere in the area.

Bled is beautiful, swimming in the lake, visiting the castle and sampling the Bled Cake whilst enjoying the view of the lake in one of the many lakeside restaurants. Close to mountains for exploring, lots of places to hire boats or SUP’s and to take part in rafting trips

We were in Bled for three nights/two days, and felt that was about right for us. We spent one day walking around Lake Bled, going out to visit the island and cathedral, and going up to the castle (amazing views!). On our second day we spent the morning at Vintgar Gorge, and the afternoon taking the cable car up Mount Vogel (next to Lake Bohinj). You really need a car to see this area efficiently.

The lake is the main attraction and worth the visit.
The lake is the main attraction and worth the visit. Even without visiting the island, there's so many good walking areas and places to sit and enjoy the view. But then Bled is also much more than that as you're right next to the Triglav National Park. Could easily do several days traversing the different areas of the park and another couple days just enjoying the Bled waterfront.

Absolutely beautiful lake, a selection of cafes and restaurants positioned so that you can enjoy the view, although some of these you specifically have to book. Going up to the castle is perhaps the best viewpoint although 18euros just for a view is a bit much (actually 18euros for the castle itself is a bit expensive given it's quite small). There are a few designated places to swim, some of which are free but it does make getting changed or dried a bit difficult as the public toilets aren't too great space wise. The lidos weren't open on this occasion. There aren't a lot of shops, a couple of touristy ones and the odd other but if you like to browse this is not the place for it. Mostly though the walk around/swim the lake, some restaurants and the chance at doing a number of gentle sport activities on the lake are the draw ins. If you're looking for peaceful (providing it's not high season) and don't mind the occasional shower this is the place. If you're wanting high activity or nightlife, go somewhere else. There is of course a number of good walking spots and sights to see, most of which you can reach by bus or walking or biking. These places like Bohinj Lake and Vintgar Gorge are definitely worth a visit.

We loved Lake Bled!
We loved Lake Bled! It's so picturesque it feels like you're in a movie. We rented a boat and paddled to the island, hiked up to a viewpoint, and rented bikes to go around the lake. We also did the toboggan ride and loved it. You have to try the famous Bled cream cake - the best place for it is Zima Confectionary!
Vintgar Gorge nearby was probably my favorite thing in Slovenia!

The hotel is situated on a quiet street close to a bus stop with connections to Ljubljana, Jesenice and Bohinj. The area offers a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants too and is a walkable distance to the town centre and lake Bled. The room was of a very good size and quite quaint. I really appreciated the personal touch they added to the place. Attentive staff and good breakfast.
