Boasting a terrace, Art Hotel Tartini is set in the heart of Piran. The hotel was completely renovated in 2018 with finishing touches provided by one of the most famous Slovenian artists.

Very close to beach, a beach bar and walking distance from Piran city centre. Huge parking space, even for bigger cars comfortable parking.
There is no lift though, but stairs are somewhat low.

I liked that it was in the heart of the Old Town. Centrally situated. The young girl on reception was very helpful and obliging.

We were honestly blown away by how nice the Opara Holiday house was! Our little apartment was pretty much brand new, sparkling clean and very very spacious! The terraced balcony overlooks the sea and there is a little communal kitchen with a bar fridge from where you can buy drinks from - including Opara wines, made by the family that owns the holiday house!
The owner was super nice and friendly. She welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know about the room and gave us directions to get to the city. You have the option to get breakfast made as well and she was able to provide me with gluten free breakfast.
The location of the villa is slightly outside of the old town but if you arrive by car having a private parking spot at the villa is well worth the 10-15 minute walk to town.

The must-have restaurant in Piran is Fritolin Pri Cantini, at the May 1 trg. The best fresh fishes. Get a good beer or wine next to it, at Cantina Klet. Beware, both of the spots are cash-only!
If you are planning to come by car, you should be warned, that cars are not allowed in Piran, so you have to park yours at Fornace, at the beginning of Piran for an expensive fee.
Take a walk upstairs to the clock tower, it's worth the sweating! Also the Walls of Piran is a good walk as well. Afternoon coffe is at Caffe Teater, where always unexpected happens and the music is always really good!

Piran is a lovely place to visit, lots of interesting walks and cycle ways. The food is amazing if you enjoy fish, always fresh and lots of choice.
Other coastal towns are in easy reach and the local transport is very good.
Swimming in Fiesta (which is a 10 minute walk from Piran) is amazing with water sports hire and Scuba diving on offer.

The small city with special atmosphere, architecture and pulsation. Maybe not accurate for mainstream travalers who are just looking for their comfort-zone. You need to know where are you arriving. If you know it, it is not problem to fall in love with Piran.

We fell in love with the quaint seaside town of Piran.
We fell in love with the quaint seaside town of Piran. The combination of sea and mountains contribute to the beauty of this calm Slovenian coastal town. Long walks on the promenade enjoying sensational sunsets, we walked up to the top of the old city walls and enjoyed amazing views of Piran. Slovenian wine is definitely a must try and a visit to a wine farm highly recommended. The wine bar at Hotel Piran was one of our favourite stops and the sommelier was a delight. Traffic around the Old Town can be quite manic, but the public transport (busses) were always on time and very safe/comfortable. We will see you soon again Piran.

A nice place near the water.
A nice place near the water. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes near the water and very beautiful sunsets to see. You can book a trip with a boat, see the aquarium or diving museum, there are also reamins of the old wall and the church which is currently being renovated. You can see it all in a day or two.

Very clean and just super cute. Had everything you could need for a stay in Piran. Kitchen is well equipped! We really enjoyed our stay. The location was super convenient and even though the parking situation in Piran is a bit peculiar we had no issue because the host helped us with all our questions and the best way for arrival. He was in general very helpful and kind and even gave us a lift back to the parking garage on our departure day. Thanks a lot and we hopefully will be back! ☺️

- Comfortable, spacious, sparkling clean room
- Jože was so kind, and helpful. He sent us detailed information on how to park our car and commute to the hotel. Upon arrival he made us feel very welcome!
- The location is perfect, 10'' from Tartini Sq, the heart of Piran where you can catch the free shuttle bus to the main parking in town. Really nice coffee place just around the corner on the square.
Amazing location with a fantastic view over the city of Piran. A short walk from the city center, the house is located in a quiet area on top of the hill. Very dog friendly with a parking spot right outside the house. The apartment is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Very spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. Super friendly communication with the host.

The location was perfect, right at the centre of Piran old town. The apartment check in was easy and although cars are not allowed to stay in the old town, the 30 minutes allowed for drop off and collection worked well, there were plenty of spaces in the parking garage. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning saved us from the heat!
