The place itself feels like a fairytale, and the accommodation is spotless, tidy, and warmly decorated. The food is excellent – varied, delicious, and on par with that of much higher-rated establishments. The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind. It's a perfect little place by the river, very well maintained. The host lives nearby and is very present in a good way. The breakfast is a basket with local products that you can have in your room or in the lovely patio facing the mountains. They have coffee and tea for free. You have access to a fridge and you can even buy a beer.

We liked everything here. The house is in a perfect location, there's no traffic, there's almost no tourism around, no crowds, no noise. We wanted to relax and disconnect from the everydays and the pressure of the ever-flowing news and information, and we could exactly do that here - no cell phone reception, no internet, just nature, birdsong and fresh air. The apartment itself is very pretty, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all that is needed for simple cooking. The views from the windows are lovely. Communication with Amalija (who is a perfect host and a very-very kind person) was smooth and she described everything we needed to know ahead of arrival.

Very warm and helpful welcome from the host. She has great knowledge of the area and was able to give information about walking routes and places to visit. The area around Solcava is beautiful and there are great walking routes. Logar valley gets quite busy but otherwise the area is very peaceful and authentic.

Everything. This is a little slice of heaven in the Slovenian Alps. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Would have liked to spend more time here. Perfect location. Make sure you do the Solcava panoramic drive.
