It was very clean, but we had to trade rooms.

It is a beautiful little town with the castle above it.
It is a beautiful little town with the castle above it. It can be a great Christmas destination, however, it is important to have in mind that the Xmas market ends on Dec 23rd. We were there on a Friday evening and it was very alive with lots of young people. There was not many restaurants, but a few little coffee shops. Trencin Castle was really beautiful, especially when you had to walk pass by beautiful churches and then walk on natural path in the woods. The view was stunning. I was so relaxed there. However, we could get an additional pillow from reception. The location is ideal: it is right next to the square, and it's easy to get to the castle.
