Staff are very efficient. Room was recently refurbishes and much cleaner than before.
Less gloomy and smelly, now that they have ripped out the old carpet and replaced some dated objects like light switches, bath/shower regulators are now tasteful and brand new.

Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Bangkok is so vibrant and there's so many things to do.
Bangkok is so vibrant and there's so many things to do. They have such a rich history. It's easy to get around with lots of sights. The river tour is not to be missed. We've been a few times and look forward to going back. The food is fabulous, especially for vegetarians and the shopping is also great.

Bangkok is a beautiful and dynamic city!
Bangkok is a beautiful and dynamic city! The old alongside the new are part of its charms. There are many areas to explore in Bangkok and the city is generally safe as its citizens are generally kind and good. However as the city attracts a lot of tourists, tourists scams are abundant. Travel with care! Must see places include all the beautiful Wats, the Palace, shopping icons like Paragon and Centralworld and all the street food!

Bangkok is not for the faint hearted. Its on steroids.
Bangkok is not for the faint hearted. Its on steroids. Take it as it is without comment, accept what you cant change, and you will love it. I always feel safe , never had a problem after 15 visits. The people realy are helpfull, even when you dont speak any Thai. I notice over the years more young Thais can speak some English so that is a huge plus. I will continue to return to experience the shear energy the city emits.. Enjoy your stay.

Bangkok is one of those cities that never sleeps.
Bangkok is one of those cities that never sleeps. It's a vibrant metropole in Thailand where you find everything: luxury hotels, quiet parks, massive shopping malls, street food, flower markets, Michelin star restaurants and more. Public transport is well-organized and cheap. City is well-integrated with online services such as Google Maps or Grab, easy for foreigners to quickly get around. Of course, all beautiful temples and palaces are a wonder. Impressive to visit! Climate is humid, often feels above 30 degrees and due to heavy traffic city smells very polluted, especially during rush hours.

A great city with so much to do.......but can be tiring.
A great city with so much to do.......but can be tiring. There were days when it thunderstormed ( which was quite fun) but other days when it was "too hot"and the humidity was very high. So plan the trip carefully. It certainly had a buzz with a fascinating culture....and plenty of bargains in the shops and markets. Food cheap. Always bargain with the sellers as they seem to be under the impression "westerners" are very rich. A very enjoyable city. Clive and Lesley (Devon, UK)

Located just within a very short distance from Nana BTS station. My heartiest thanks to hotel staffs particularly Ms. Tea (Front Office Manager), Wiwa & Peach (Front Desk), Wee & Jom (Bell Team) for being extremely cordial & always ready to help & guide me for any assistance which I required. The room was comfortable, neat & clean. The Japanese food in the rooftop restaurant was good. This hotel is an ideal place to stay in Bangkok's Sukhumvit 11 tourist area.
The owner and staff are clearly proud of the hotels history, a proud family run residence going back 100 years! From the opulence of the foyer displaying its family requisites, stunning chandilier and freshly cut flowers as the main centrepiece of this truly stunning family gem of a hotel set in the heart of Bangkok. It is my favourite hotel in Thailand. The pool is stunning, the staff are just so gentle and helpful. I be will be back soon Micky Pearce!
‐Easy access from the airport
‐Around the hotel, you can see the life of Bangkok local residents
‐Clean and adequate facilities for the price
‐Lovely food stalls around the hotel for local food
Relatively cheap compared to other hotels in Bangkok, so you shouldn’t expect too much luxury, but for the price you pay it’s an absolutely okay hotel with swimming pool at a nice location.
Very convenient location for the train from the airport and to connect to the Bangkok transport system. But there are many small hotels in the immediate area - so plenty of competition.
