We enjoyed our stay in Cocoa Beach. We stayed at the Cocoa Beach city instead of near the pier and touristy area. We loved the quaintness and laid back feeling of the area. This is a foodie's vacation dream. There is a large variety of quaint small owned restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. Forget the chain restaurants! Among some of our favorite bites were Destination Food Hall, The Tiny Turtle, Sergio's, Juice and Jave, Tropical, The FoxTail, and Wake and Bake Bread Company. I also recommend a kayak tour with Thousand Island Kayak. Our tour guide, James, was laid back and full of knowledge. He made the trip very enjoyable, showing us Manatees. stingrays, dolphins, tarpins, and more. Would definitely recommend them for your outdoor adventure needs. We were there overnight- Cocoa Beach is a great little vacation spot, I highly recommend it! Our children are able to go their own way and explore. Honestly, first trip we allowed the girls to venture off on their own and we weren't concerned. It felt safe! Such good people, the locals are very nice and welcoming; enjoyed talking with a few of them at the restaurant. Quiet, peaceful and plenty to do. We love Cocoa Beach.
We love Cocoa Beach. The beach itself is always clean and not to crowded. There are plenty of things to do for families. The fishing is always good too. To add, there are some very good restaurants to dine at. Cocoa Beach Fish Camp is highly rated.Guest review bylane - 10.0

Always a great time in cocoa beach near the pier. Didn’t rent a car just took a shuttle from airport and got dropped off at a hotel close to the pier. The gas station and a few local bars and restaurants met our needs. The people were friendly and the food was yummy. The sushi on the pier for lunch and dinner at a restaurant called fish camp near the pier was delicious. Nice three or four day vacation destination.Guest review byChristina - 10.0

Plenty to do in the area; a bit of “old” Florida in architecture on Cocoa and Cocoa Village. Colorful older homes, murals and shops. Less developed and more residential feeling to the area. Biking and kayaking opportunities. Beach right across the street and not crowded. The property had some nice waterside space without a feeling of being crowded partly because there was undeveloped property nearby. Kennedy Space Center nearby and also an interesting area to have supper out while watching cruise ships pass by. The apartment, Chasing Pelicans, was spacious and private.
