The hotel was right across the street from the rodeo, which goes on every day in the month of July. I truly enjoy that. It's a 5 minute drive to historic downtown Cody. I personally like that its out of the town a bit. There is also a little cowboy village across the street to tour. I was surpised how much we liked this little town. We stayed there because it was close to Yellowstone National Park. The drive between Yellowstone and Cody is breathtaking. We saw bears playing in the river, Big Horns and Elk on our drive outside of the park. Loved it. I think it's a great place.Guest review byLeAnnaUnited States - 10.0

Cody is a neat little Western town with a very walkable and interesting downtown. The Buffalo Bill museum is terrific and really deserves two days to see it all; your admission ticket would cover that amount of time. An interesting place that might slip under the radar is the Heart Mountain Relocation Center, a memorial to the internment of Japanese citizens during World War II. Bill Cody museum, composed of five different extensive exhibits on different, interesting topics is among the best I have visited in the world. Five stars.
