The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Parking was easy although I noticed that the parking lot was small and did become full not long after we arrived. The wifi was very good.
Breakfast was also very good with a wide selection on offer.

Petaluma is a very nice smaller city, with plenty to do & see: there's a river through downtown, with lotsa brewpubs and restaurants nearby. Plus an old downtown section just a few blocks from the main street with beautiful old restored victorians and post- Gold Rush mansions. Lovely walking town on the West Side (east side of Highway 101 is kind of sprawl;y new developments, not nearly as nice). Pretty dog-friendly town, lotsa businesses put out water bowls. Tall Toad Music is a really cool shop, if you're into guitars, they have many dozens hanging from the the ceiling. Copperfield's Bookstore has a nice vibe, it's big, a community gathering place for talks & meetings. You can walk the whole place in an hour of so. Plenty places have outdoor dining, esp. the Tap Room and Brewster's brewery, so you can bring the dog. Locals love Lombardi's Deli & BBQ a couple miles north of town (excellent huge $10 sandwiches!! Don't miss!) Half hour to Pt. Reyes National Seashore to the west; half hour to Bodga Bay to the northwest;, about a half hour to Sonoma Square & serious wine country due east. Not only is Petaluma cool itself, it's pretty close to a lot of interesting places. Makes a good base to explore.

Petaluma is located in a lovely valley with gorgeous country around to enjoy. Good trails, access to nearby Bodega Bay. Lots of great restaurants and shops in Old Town Petaluma. I went for an annual family Halloween Party, so it was a quick stay. Perfect!

If you are there, try seafood!
If you are there, try seafood! If you drive 40 minutes to Bodega bay, you must try clam chowder at Spud Point Crab Company and go to the next restaurant, Fisherman’s Cove and try clam chowder, oysters and halibut taco!

Really liked everything.
Really liked everything. People are friendly, and there were so many
great places to eat like The Wild Goat Bistro, Volpe's Angela's Ice Cream
try their lavender ice cream, so many restaurants, just walking around and
checking out downtown and the beautiful neighborhoods and parks.
Small town vibe with a lot of things to do.

This is an unconventional hotel but better for. Strong French theme which works well and themed decorations and fittings.
Important basics, cleanliness, bed and bedding, bathroom and towels are good.
Breakfast is low key but healthy and fresh. Coffee very good.
It's quiet, easy to get to with good restaurants nearby.
Try it. Keep an open mind it will surprise you in a good wY.

This was a good stay. Much better than the S. Santa Rosa stay which was incredibly disappointing. This Petaluma property is well cared for, clean and comfortable.
