I really thought we were gonna have a good time, since this was a total family vacation with my son, his children, my 2 daughters, their children and great-grandchildren and it turned out to be a total nightmare for myself, my daughters and my great granddaughters and granddaughter for me. 2 days of cold water, taking a shower, then the next 2 days were spent with my daughter granddaughters and 2 great granddaughters with no water whatsoever. I have been going to Port Aransas for many years since I was a child. My review might not help as much to others because my only thing that I’ve done there is go to the beach and go fishing at the jetties and the pier’s at night and boating with my husband, but there is much to explore in the area. Being on beach and having dinner was great ! Traffic was terrible in town . Like putting 10 lbs in 5 lb sack Hotels double the prices , Carts are higher when they have an event like Sand Fest . 100.00 room Is 300.00 should be against the Law . It’s called price gouging! Our winter weekend getaway was great!
Our winter weekend getaway was great! We found a sunset dolphin cruise with The Scarlet Lady cruises. We saw so many dolphins, the staff was friendly, and the sunset pics were awesome. We rented 2 golf carts from Salty Island Waves rental. They had the best prices, they delivered and picked up the carts from our condo, they filled up the gas so we did not have to, and they were super friendly. Everyone in my group loved riding on the carts and blasting our music through the bluetooth speakers! Port A Pizzeria was the perfect all you can eat pizza buffet for our large group one night. Really enjoy going by the beach and just sit and take it all...
Really enjoy going by the beach and just sit and take it all in. Love to go see the the dolphins on the Scarlet Lady Tour and the Red Dragon Pirate ship. Enjoy sitting on the beach and watch the tug boats bring in the huge freighters. Fins Grill & Icehouse is a nice place to eat. Overall very enjoyable place to visit.Guest review byRogerUnited States
