A lovely family-run hotel in a quiet side street but close to downtown Piriápolis. Spotlessly clean with kind and courteous staff. A special shout out to the reception staff: Catarina, Elisa, Gonzolo and Horace who were extremely helpful, spoke good English and showed great patience when we attempted to speak Spanish! ¡Muchos gracias! The property's historical pedigree and unusual facade intrigued us and were the primary factors in booking (and prepaying) a four night stay in the high season. It is a beautiful looking hotel, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Good location, just a couple of hundred yards out of the town centre, so it’s quiet. It’s a bit of a hike from the bus station but the reward is that it’s near some of the best restaurants in town and a half hour stroll to San Francisco beach, which is the best in the area. Great breakfast and the pool is a nice touch. The most impressive thing is the warmth and helpfulness of the staff who don’t speak English but cheerfully endured my dreadful Spanish!

    Location was excellent. Our room was directly across the beach with an amazing view. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was delicious and filling. My mom loved the coffee. Pool was heated so perfect for the windy colder days.

    Stuff are very friendly, breakfast is good. Bed is ok for 2 nights. Location is great. There is a lot of outside noise during weekend. Motorbikes gather near by and make a lot of noise.

    Highly recommended if you go with car and use it for moving...

    Highly recommended if you go with car and use it for moving aroun the city. If you don use a car, I recommend to stay 5 or 6 blocks to the East of Argentino Hotel and thus you will be close to the beach, restaurants an interest places.

    Piriápolis is a very family friendly beach town.

    Piriápolis is a very family friendly beach town. It's a better place to visit during the summer since more services are available, but winter is a good time also. You can hike in the nearby hills, or you can visit the many beaches around. The beaches right in Piriapolis are nice but not the best, if you go east you should find bigger and better beaches, though maybe a little bit more dangerous. Keep in mind that during the summer the city can get very crowded with people.

    Location is amazing beautiful beach 15min walk and u cover the hole bay front road all restaurants and bars. Prices in restaurants vary but if u check you can find some good set menus. Will come back again but definitely not stay at this hotel.

    They really did a good job with this place. They packed a lot into a small area. Breakfast was good. The young lady that checked us in was great. Comfy bed. We had ocean view which was very nice.
