The view was one of the best we've ever had — my husband and I kept comparing it to the one we enjoyed in Dubai overlooking the Palm Jumeirah. The room itself was spacious, with a large, comfortable bed and all the basic amenities you'd expect: tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer, and complimentary bottled water that was replenished daily. We also appreciated the gym and outdoor pool, which were nice additions. However, there weren’t quite enough sun loungers outside, and the area felt a little worn and in need of some refreshment. Housekeeping team was quite good. My husband loved the glass bottle that we were given upon check-in, he thought it was a lovely touch. Much appreaciated.

The location, while far from the station, had a direct shuttle to Tsuen Wan that runs every 10 minutes, so it was never hard to get into the city. They also had microwaves to use in the lobby area, a gym, and a games room for the kids. We were able to borrow umbrellas, and use their washer/dryer room to help do a load of laundry. Staff was always helpful, they gave us a water-view room when I requested, which was very kind of them.

There were great views over the bay. It was away from the city hub, but it was quiet. The main purpose of this stay was to get some sleep in Hong Kong while on a very long layover. It suited our purposes and we found a reasonable rate through booking.com. However, it was not very close to the metro meaning that we had to take a taxi from the airport as it was getting late. WiFi was ok.

Noah’s Ark Resort is located on Ma Wan Island in Hong Kong’s New Territories, a 30-minute drive to Mongkok. The hotel offers both private and dormitory rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Perfect place to start exploring Hong Kong for family with young children up to 12 years. An educational centre with interactive rooms where they can spend time if raining outside. Or play on the sandy beach if the weather is nice. The connection from the airport and to the downtown city centre is well connected from the island with a direct shuttle bus. Explore the island, enjoy the restaurants next to the hotel or some local small restaurants with home cooked food 10-15 min waking distance.

The filtered water tap was very convenient & good although it was leaking a bit.

Only a 10 to 15 minute walk from Sha Tin Wai MTR Station, Regal Riverside Hotel boasts views of Shing Mun River which is lined with beautiful vegetation.

This hotel is incredible. It is not in the centre (so don’t book it if that’s what you’re looking for!!) but it is very close to the metro (500m away). The staff are very friendly and the room was spotless. You will not find a better-priced hotel closer to the city for this standard. The pool was also a fantastic way to cool down in the evening. I highly recommend.
