We moved to a new building at the end of 2023. The inn is a 3-4 minute walk from Shingu Station. The front of the guesthouse is the "Yakimanjuya" store. Guests staying overnight should enter through the white front door on the back. There are two guest rooms with a capacity of 2 people. It is recommended for 3-4 guests as it will be rented exclusively. However, the room size is about 10 m2, so it is a little small for two people to use one room. There are two guest rooms on the second floor up the stairs. Therefore, it is not suitable for guests with large suitcases as there is no elevator. The bathroom does not have a bathtub and only a compact shower. Cooking is not possible in the mini kitchen (with a small refrigerator). Please use the nearby coin laundry for laundry. Please understand the above before making a reservation.
In addition to the guesthouse, we also run a yakimanju shop from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm except on Sundays and Wednesdays, so we are always at the store. Therefore, we may cause you inconvenience when you check in. Please understand this. We also accept inquiries about storing luggage before and after check-in for guests only.
Shingu is the base for travel to the Nachikatsuura and Hongu areas. We recommend staying at a Shingu lodging for 2-3 nights and leaving your luggage behind for light sightseeing. On the way back, there are express trains from Shingu Station to Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo, so you can have a fun trip without having to carry heavy luggage! Shingu City is home to three World Heritage shrines (Hayatama Taisha, Kamikura Shrine, and Asuka Shrine), the ruins of Shingu Castle, Ukishima no Mori, and Jofuku Park. The lodging is a 3-4 minute walk from Shingu Station, and there is a convenience store near the station, as well as supermarkets, bakeries, and restaurants around the lodging.
