Split is one of my best travel experiences.
Split is one of my best travel experiences. Split hit all the marks—history, adventure, food, and vibes. I went in late May/early June and hit the sweet spot: perfect weather and just the right amount of tourists before peak season. The people are warm and down-to-earth, the Mediterranean food is incredible (think Italian meets Greek), and you can find whatever you’re craving. Split can be whatever you want—chill with a cold beer on the promenade at sunset, or go full explorer mode hopping islands and roaming ancient alleys. The old town pulls you back in time, but the waterfront keeps it sharp and modern. The Adriatic is unbelievably clear and blue, the streets are spotless, and it feels safe!. Traveled with my wife—would go back in a heartbeat.Guest review byDamienUnited States - 10.0
Dubrovnik is now our favourite destination ever.
Dubrovnik is now our favourite destination ever. Photos don’t do it justice. The streets are so clean and the staff everywhere are super helpful. We stayed 3 nights in Old Town which was incredible but could easily stay long and explore beyond the city walls. LOKRUM island is a must and city walls early.Guest review byAmy - 10.0

Maganda yung beach nila pangit lang yung public transpo. Walang live timetable kung ano oras aalis or dadating ang bus. Sa mismong station at hindi ka mkabili ng ticket online if you dont have the app. But the app only works for croatians.Guest review byRichealCzech Republic - 2.0

Budva has beautiful mountains and sea, but the people are quite frankly the worst people I have ever met in my life. Nearly everyone is incredibly miserable and rude. There are tons of scams, people will constantly be blackmailing you for money. I was screamed and shouted at and threatened if I didn't give scammers their demands. This happened every day over something or another. For anyone thinking I am am misunderstanding the culture, perhaps, but I am married to an eastern European. This was something else and even my wife couldn't stand the people. So understand this is a very underdeveloped place in many ways, I highly suggest people visit other more well known Mediterranean destinations, even if just for personal safety.Guest review byNicholasUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Pula was clean, people were friendly and helpful. We visited the Arena, took a boat trip to Brijuni National Park, walked along 6km of the Lungamare Promenade and dipped many times in the beautiful sea. we would highly recommend Pula and would happily return.Guest review byHelenUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Too many things didn’t work properly:TV, internet, AC, water leaks în the bathroom, not cleaning the balcony or the floor, bad check in, some staff were friendly others not supportive. No floor towels, no shower to clean the sand before entering the hotel and menu was poor with different prices than current charges.Guest review byCorneliaUnited States - 10.0

Lovely town, great for exploring, beautiful walk around the old town with swimming spots all around. Great for shopping, lovely restaurants, easy to navigate and excellent parking. Along the harbour you can catch a boat trip which is easy to do and well worth it, whatever you choose. You can also get a boat over to Venice for the day, perfect!Guest review byRachelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Rovinj is one of the most beautiful towns I have ever visited. It is unspoilt with its colourful houses and cobbled streets. We hired bikes and cycled to the Golden Cape Park, which was stunning with clear water and quiet beaches. Would 100% recommend visiting.Guest review byRosie CaleUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I really liked Kotor, but I would never choose it as a place to stay - too many tourists, people and noise. The nearby Dobrota is ideal for staying overnight. But overall, the Bay of Kotor was fantastic at the beginning of this summer - green and blooming! You should definitely take a boat trip around the bay and visit the cable car, which takes you up a high mountain and views the Bay of Kotor from above.Guest review byIngunaLatvia - 8.0

Good for a base but will cover the 'island' part in less than half a day, recommend doing trips to Split, boat trips, walk further out to beaches and coastal walks. No high street shops in Trogir, all local shops, one big supermarket, a fruit market, more restaurants than you can count. I wouldn't bother with a car, can do everything on foot, bus or organised trips. Bus to airport is 20 mins max, use the bus app for discounted fares, easy to use. If you go to Bosnia for any trip, it is cheaper so maybe cigarettes, alcohol or gifts better from there. There is one post office and if sending postcards, stamps can only be bought from there not hops or kiosks. While not expensive as such, Croatia was not 'cheap' as I had thought, much like UK, maybe little cheaper, especially supermarket. Cigarettes Trogir about €4.20-€4.80 packet, cheaper in Bosnia by a bit.Guest review byPhillipUnited Kingdom
