Stuben is a small village, no big choice of restaurants and you will need reservation everywhere. There is one bar for an after ski drink with limited aprés if you're after that part of the skiing experience. I visited Warth 76 with children in December 2023.
I visited Warth 76 with children in December 2023. We rented apartment No. 2 on the ground floor. Both bedrooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and had en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and directly connected to the living room with a large window from which I could watch the children playing in the snow. The house has an underground garage, so I eliminated the morning cleaning of the windshield. There is a sauna available for guests. From the house, I could easily walk to the information office, the ATM, or Spar for shopping. If one doesn't feel like cooking in the evening, one can try the restaurants within walking distance, offering local and international cuisine. I drove to the nearest lift (Steffisalp) within 5 minutes, where I rented skis for the kids and enrolled them in a local ski course. Beginners and experienced skiers alike can choose between the slopes. A further 10 minute drive (or local Skibus) takes you to cross-country (Salober), classic and skate skiing or you can take the cable car from here to the next ski resort, Lech. Warth 76 is the choice for anyone who likes to stay nice and comfortable on holiday, while having all the luxuries of an alpine resort within easy reach. Town of Klosterele has nothing really to offer apart from a very few restaurants. Next to the apartment is a supermarket and the skibus stops prior to the resort being convenient. But staying at the resort is magnificent and travel by car to the main slopes in the Ski Arlberg area is just a matter of a few minutes. Flirsch is a convenient base for skiing the St Anton area. The property is a 3 min walk with skis to the bus stop. A far more reasonably priced option than St Anton. There are no shops in Flirsch so supermarket shopping is either in St Anton or Landeck both serviced by either the ski bus or a local bus. Although there is a smaller supermarket in Pettenau where there is also a ski shop called Miet.com which again has far more reasonable equipment prices. The apartment owner gave us a voucher to leave our skis in the lockers at Intersport close to Terminal West in St Anton which was very convenient. Excellent.Guest review byAlison - 8.0

The ski resort is huge, taking you long time and good level of navigation skills to go from one peak to the other. If that's your thing, this ski resort is great for you. Weekend is very crowded with tourists but the apres-ski is next level. Lots of beginner (blue) routes and they are marked fairly well. Restaurants in town are nice but a bit on the pricy side. Food wise not whole lot of varieties but we like Austrian food - you won't get bored or hungry for a long weekend but if we are vegan or stay longer than that, I'll consider an apartment with kitchen other than hotels.Guest review byLuDavNetherlands - 10.0

Lech is lovely - a good looking resort with good places to eat - varied and not as expensive as the reputation suggests. The lift system is very good - although the link with Zurs isn't great - you need to use a track rather than piste to get back. But the ski buses are frequent and reliable, so fine. We mainly skied in Zurs and St Anton as snow was better, But links were great. You can ski all the way to the far side of St Anton in a short day.Guest review bymarieUnited Kingdom
