We spent our vacation at Hotel Sonnenheim and were absolutely delighted with our stay. The accommodation was excellent, the service outstanding, and the entire hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The rooms are cleaned daily, and everything is kept in perfect order. A special highlight of our experience was the food — truly top-notch! Every meal was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and presented at the highest level. It exceeded our expectations in every way and added so much to the overall experience. The owners are incredibly kind and always ready to answer any questions or help with anything you need. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. We would gladly return and highly recommend Hotel Sonnenheim to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality holiday experience.

From the moment we arrived at OTP Birkenhof, we were blown away by the exceptional service, ambiance, and attention to detail. Every aspect of our stay was simply perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was professional, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our stay special. The rooms were immaculate, beautifully designed, and comfortable. The food was another highlight! Whether it was the delicious breakfast spread, the gourmet dinners every bite was a delight. The attention to quality and presentation was evident in every meal. Very good food in the restaurant for dinner and not so good for breakfast because baked eggs and omlets was every second day, and on the other days was sweet pankakes, bacon was burned too much. In our room there was no heated coil to dry socks after skiing day so that was not nice, bunk beds for kids was in tambour on the entry to the hotel room, so kids wasnt very happy. Outside pools and saunas excellent. So 8 out of 10.

The rooms are large, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding after a day of skiing or relaxing in the spa. The wellness area is fantastic, with expansive indoor and outdoor thermal pools, numerous saunas, hammams, and a serene atmosphere. While massages are available, they are quite expensive - up to €75 for just 20 minutes. Meal service was exceptional throughout our stay. The multi-course dinners paired with a generous buffet selection offered something for every taste. We looked forward to each evening meal. The hotel ski shuttle is a huge plus - it will drop you off at any nearby ski slope and pick you up when you're done. This level of flexibility and comfort is rare and much appreciated. The afternoon snack service, which includes fresh fruit and cakes, is a lovely and delicious touch - and it’s included in the price.
