We stayed in Katherine for one night at Gorge View, had a meal of crocodile and Barramundi at the Katherine Club on O'shea Terrace, next morning went to the Katherine Outback Experience which we thoroughly enjoyed and had lunch at the New Shanghai restaurant. Only regret is that we didn't visit the Katherine School of the Air.Guest review byRowland - 8.0

The famous river cruise from Cooinda was nice but not outstanding as we'd been led to believe. The visitor centre on the edge of town is really good. Aboriginal cultural centre is wonderful & well worth a visit. Very few places to eat so don't expect a big choice.Guest review byKathyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Fantastic staff at the visitor information centre who were able to get me booked onto a Nitmulik Gorge Tour for the next morning. An absolutely beautiful space with amazing tour guide, Casey I think 🤔🙂Guest review byMichele - 10.0

The township needs investment as it has become run down HOWEVER the Murrawuddi Art Gallery is amazing - great coffee, lovely people and some really excpetional indigenous art. Totally recommend a visit - not only for the great coffee but also to purchase some great art work directly.Guest review byMonikaAustralia - 2.0

It was a room (upstairs) with a bed and a fridge but not much else. The shower's taps were a feet level with nothing to hold on to when stepping in. The plastic plant on the bedside table just took up space. The restaurant was very different - it was welcoming, clean and the food was very nice. We only stayed one night.Guest review byLorraineAustralia - 8.0

Unfortunately it was the wet season therefore a lot of places were closed. We did not have places to go to after about 3 days. We ended leaving the hotel a day earlier that planned and obviously have to pay again for a night to stay in DarwinGuest review byGeoffAustralia
