Crowded, cold , with cold people, not enough empathy , smile or kindness , every one was busy , dont want to help you and give you one second more to help you , too much noise , I felt homesick and anxious, unsafe and sad, I cried a lot , during my medical assessment process in Sydney , never will come back there alone , unless I have to go , for an important activity.Guest review byBazrafshan - Review score

Newcastle is a really lovely place to visit. There are some really beautiful beaches and a lot of places of interest to see. Honeysuckle seems the place to be these days, King Street has some really nice restaurants as well.Guest review byKathrynAustralia - Review score

Byron is a place you can do as much as you like or as little as you like. Great for a weekend visit or longer for those that want a break from city life. You can walk or drive to the lighthouse, parking $10 for an hour limit. If you like to hike, then you will definitely enjoy the moderate walk. So many great places to venture around and see. Many great options to eat and drink at for all budgets. The Byron markets is lovely too; locals are friendly & helpful. Stunning beaches, Crystal Castle is a must see and do. Fun options to hire a bike or kayak, easy to walk around town, if you choose to drive, it is paid metered parking in town.Guest review byMamaChichAustralia - Review score

Great location and plenty to do. The boardwalk along the beach is great with views of the beach and lighthouse. The Brewery was also a great place to stop for a refreshment. Everything was in walking distance from our hotel The Sage.Guest review byMark JCAustralia - Review score

I really liked Albury and surrounding district.
I really liked Albury and surrounding district. We did a drive around the Hume Weir and stopped at very small towns for coffee, lunch etc. These were charming and the people were very friendly. Most of the old pubs we stopped at had roaring fires going in their dining rooms, which made it very warm and inviting. The wineries are great places to visit and the markets in Rutherglen were very interesting with a great number of stalls. It was very cold however, so rug up. We also toured around the Silo Trail in the area. These were very interesting and in very small townships, which were interesting to see.Guest review byMargaretAustralia - Review score

Tamworth is a very clean bustling city with surprisingly great restaurants. Easy to get around, great facilities and shopping. Lots to do - it seems to be popular with events (Vintage car rally, regional markets, and sporting events on) this made making a booking essential - all motels booked out on the weekend of our visit. A really great regional town, with friendly people, great restaurants (Centillion Chinese, Longyard Pub, and Powerhouse sampled during our stay). All had exceptional food. Covering pub, family and high end dining. BTW Powerhouse specialises in high quality beef and lamb, so make sure your wallet is bulging. Travelling from Sydney up the New England through the Hunter Valley is beautiful.Guest review byBronwynAustralia
