The penguins were an essential visit and didn’t disappoint.
The penguins were an essential visit and didn’t disappoint. Lots of wildlife to see. Local venues had live music and the food was wonderful. Only draw back is Cowes seems to shut down after 10pm, so need your own entertainment after that, we just listened to the ocean and relaxed.Guest review byAngela - 4.0
The location & The Resort itself was great.
The location & The Resort itself was great. We had a meal at the restaurant which was fantastic. The apartment was the total opposite as described above. When we contacted Rachael regarding no hairdryer, milk, tea or coffee her reply was no milk coffee or hairdryer supplied although sometimes the previous guests sometimes leave milk etc. which would be left in the fridge! I would definitely not book there through Air BNB again.Guest review byBrianNew Zealand - 10.0
Nature at its best.
Nature at its best. Rugged coastline, echidnas, cape barron geese penguins and long necked turtles. Hotel Philip Island was very good for lunch. Mrs Isla Cafe in Church Road served great coffees and cakes.Guest review byLouiseAustralia - 8.0
The staff were most helpful and informative.
The staff were most helpful and informative. I was notified by message if/when changes were made. My only objection would perhaps be no electric frying pan in the Cabin. It was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.. I would definitely recommend to others.Guest review byMagdalenaAustralia - 10.0
We loved that it was so close to the beach!
We loved that it was so close to the beach! It was also not as busy as other parts of the Island so was very quiet and relaxing with amazing views! Also only 10mins from the track and go karting was so much fun!Guest review byLauraAustralia - 10.0

Lovely modern home with lovely touches.
Lovely modern home with lovely touches. Disappointed with cleanliness of balcony as it hadn’t been cleaned, it was dirty and greasy not just covered in sand from beach. We spent an hour cleaning it up. We also cleaned the house before we left, so wasn’t too happy about the cleaning charge on top of stay.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely place, very quiet area, however not too far from the tavern if you wanted to go out for a meal. 15-20 minutes from Cowes on the Island where there are restaurants, a shopping centre and petrol stations. Approx. 15-20mins from the penguin parade and costal board walk. Amazing views of the coast and mainland. It’s a lot bigger than we realised.Guest review byMeganAustralia - 10.0

The main beach is beautiful, with a ramp for all abilities (and dog) access. Dogs are allowed on lead at the beach at specific times. The water and sand are clean. There are rockpools to explore at low tide. Smiths Beach General Store provides for basic provisions during the day. Smiths Beach is a short drive (less than 10 mins) into Cowes and The Nobbies.Guest review byKylieAustralia - 8.0
Cowes is a lovely shore side town on Phillip Island.
Cowes is a lovely shore side town on Phillip Island. It is at the far end of the island from the bridge to cross over to the island. The town is well equipped with all softs of shops, and is a good spot to use as a base to travel around the island and experience all the sights that are available.Guest review byBruceAustralia
