Bruges is a beautiful city and well wort a visit, It is relatively small and can easily be seen in a day. It is busy with tourists but manageable. The locals are very friendly and restaurants have menus in multiple languages however food and drink is expensive as are hotels and parking so beware.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - Review score

Nice places to visit in the city, plenty of restaurants and shops. Sea side is very good and well maintained, very clean. Easy to move around, Tram and train station, all usable with your bank card. Usually plenty of carpark places all over the city. We drove around from here to other city's like Bruge and Ghent and it was fast and it is amazing how they kept the speed limits quite high even in the city. Well done Belgium.Guest review byV - Review score

Blankenberge is for my family a special vacation destination. We like it due to the convenient transport, the train stops in the center of the city. The city is not big and has its charm, by walking it is possible to reach each attraction. The tram allows you to go to the other cities and towns located along the Belgian coast. Therefore, your trip can be even more attractive.Guest review byAnonymousBelgium - Review score

If you like a mondaine place next to the see, with great nature, walks, beaches, beachclubs nearby this is the place. Great selection of restaurants, shopping, Golf and watersports. Knokke has a famous Micro climate and a nature reserve to go for long walks. Dogs are allowed on the beach between Mid October and April. The rich and the famous come here to see and be seen, so that you need to be in favour of. Dont expect Knokke to be the same a a remote beach village in Bretagne, but it certainly is worth a visit.Guest review byKimFrance - Review score

An excellent expanse of good quality sand with plentiful bars and restaurants (although many weren't open in late April- despite very good weather). The town also is accessible via the motorway from Le Shuttle and ferries (circa 1 1/4 hours) providing a great base to visit Bruges, Ghent, Ostend and other parts of the area. The town is mainly one road running parallel to the coast with retail sheds including Lidl, Aldi and Jumbo supermarkets at the north end with a caravan park opposite (both statics and caravans/motorhomes). There is quite a lot of new development spreading inland from the town which means that some areas are impacted by construction noise and traffic.Guest review byBryanUnited Kingdom - Review score
Ypres is a "must" visit for all.
Ypres is a "must" visit for all. War is too serious to be ignored, and Ypres has seen more than its fair share. The museums, sites and general area have been very ell improved and yet they are informative, calm and above all an essential part of our history - relevant to all ages and countries.Guest review byJohn RichardUnited Kingdom - Review score

Nieuwpoort consists of the main town which in a little distance inland, and Nieuwpoort-Bad which is at the seaside. Make sure you pick the right one. Nieuwpoort-Bad is one of the better Belgian seaside towns with shops, good hotels and apartments, and entertainment. It’s also a good base from which to drive or take the Littoral tram along the coast. Parking can be a pain, but most of the seaside towns offer 30mins free then €1 or €1.50 per hour. But you have to register your number plate and take a ticket for the free 30 mins option. Santos Palace in nearby Koksijde is a must visit for hot chocolate, waffles and patisserie.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - Review score

A beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean and in a great location, views from the balcony were amazing ! All round terrace so views from every room. Lift access from a free car parking space underneath the building. Kitchen had everything you need for but if you are coming by car remember to bring the little things like coffee, tea and sugar and a tea towel and maybe a coat hanger or two, me personally lived out of my case so it did not bother me too much but my friend hand her clothes on the coat pegs in the hallway. Not a biggie. There is a Lidl and Aldi about a mile away which was handy, but we did not see any other shops close by, it was February so possibly the shops are seasonal. Transport links very good, and we caught the coastal tram to Ostend which was just under 8 euros for a day pass, so you can hop on and off all day. I cannot say anything negative about the apartment and would highly recommendGuest review byrachelUnited Kingdom - Review score

A stunning village - for anyone interested in architecture it is worth taking the time to stroll the wide boulevards and check out the incredible houses, each different from the other. The beach is close by with a long paved promenade, deckchairs and many facilities. There is also a tram service through the centre of town with one direct to Ostende and train connection to Brugge.Guest review byPatriciaFrance
